Bruce Wayne's Biggest Hater:

No one in the entire world hates Bruce Wayne more than Danny Fenton. Danny has know the guy for almost a decade now and he can honestly say that everyone in gotham are idiots if they think bruce is an airheaded playboy. The guy is an asshole.

Danny moved to gotham after college and used ghost king money to start up an aerospace engineering firm. Its great. He gets to do work he loves and he is his own boss, which gives him the flexibility needed to still deal with ghost shenanigans. When danny got settled he started up a collection for his favorite show 'Gray Ghost', he'd been introduced to it when his dad got the vhs copies thinking they were haunted. He had loved it ever since and finally he had the money and space to get some ultra rare memorabilia.

Unfortunately, someone always beat him to the punch.

Bruce. Fucking. Wayne.

He found a mint conditon poster? Well guess who bought it hours before for three times the asking price?

He bid on a signed copy of one of the scripts? Well guess who outbid him at auction?

Its always fucking bruce. Danny hates that guy. Honestly seethes at him whenever they are at the same event, which happens more often than he'd like. Sam makes sure that danny attends and donates frequently to charities. Charities that Bruce happens to always support as well. And of course the guy cant resist one upping him there too. Always donating at least double whatever Danny does. The little asshole.

And then Bruce takes in a ward. Danny doesnt think its sweet or anything. Its obviously a ploy or something. Sure the way he clearly dotes on the kid is cute, but he clearly doesnt spend that much time with the kid since the guy still finds time to get to Gray Ghost Merch before Danny can. The little shit.

Meanwhile Bruce is juggling being Batman, Brucie Wayne, and now being a guardian to Dick Grayson. On top of that he has to manage around his crush on the one other truly good philanthropic man in gotham that has the same love of corny detective shows as him. Daniel Fenton is on the forefront of scientific discoveries and always gives away money to the most worthy causes. Bruce has tried to talk to the guy at galas but Daniel seems to hate him. Which. Well. Isnt exactly a turn off.

Alfred has been dealing with this soap opera nonsense for far too long and Dick is starting to suspect that Batman might be an idiot actually.

It’s not unusual for the siblings of the Batclan to go out together when they need to be seen in public for more than official events. It is weird when Bruce joins them on an outing to do some shopping and eating out.

But here they are walking out of a restaurant towards the waiting set of cars around the block. Finally heading home after making a show of being a happy family. Nearly everyone from Dick teasing jason at the head of the group. To Tim and Steph annoying Damien at the back while Bruce, Duke and Cass walk in the middle.

It’s almost to normal for them.

So of course something has to ruin the almost domestic moment. It’s not a rouge or some massive attack. Instead it’s a kid Damien’s age running full speed out of an alley that Jason and Dick had just passed seconds ago.

The boy crashes into the grimy sidewalk right in-front of the Middle three of the group. His lanky limbs doing nothing to catch himself as he hits the ground hard and turns to look at the glowing green tie around his ankles. His head moving so fast it whips his shaggy black hair out of his face revealing startling blue eyes.

The group of vigilantes just stand there a second processing. Apparently staring to long as the boy slips the green rope off of him then takes off across the street. Disappearing into another alley just as another figure emerged from the one the boy had come from.

“Get back here you little shit! I’m gonna kill you for real this time!”

Danny is just Some Guy: It started as a random idea and has since snowballed. It is not a cohesive storyline as none of these post were mad

I love the idea of Danny being just Some Guy.

Like yes he’s Phantom, yes he has ghost powers, yes he’s the King of the Infinite Realms. But to the BatFam? That is just Some Guy. A random dude - if you will.

They are positively baffled by him. Like he’s completely normal as far as they (and the background check) can see. Yet, he. Is. EVERYWHERE. (Not actually but it sure feels like it.)

The kids have a running bingo card of where he’ll turn up. Outside a warehouse they’re raiding? Check. Stopped a mugging? He was the one being mugged. Tim’s favorite coffee shop? He was just hired as a barista.  Seriously it’s like everytime they turn around he’s there.

Which wouldn’t be such a problem if he REACTED NORMALLY. But no. He doesn’t flee in fear, stare in awe, he doesn’t even try to say thank you. This man looked Batman in the eye and called him the furry vigilante - TO HIS FACE! He casually referred to Dick as “the flying monkey one” to Red Robin while also calling Tim a literal walking Red Flag. When he crosses paths with Duke he doesn’t always speak but he does always give him a snack. (Sometimes it’s candy, sometimes it’s fruit but it’s always food. And he only gives them to Duke.)

He once told Jason that he didn’t care that he was a crime lord and built like a brick house, Danny would kick his ass and drag his “rotted milk soul” too hell if the gun fights kept going on past midnight. (He had exams in the morning damnit.)

He will only call Damian “baby ninja” no matter how many times the kid insists that his name is Robin.

Spoiler and Orphan? The only ones he’s respectful to but even they get the occasional random comment. (“It may be a Tuesday, but if the universe is gonna make me the human equivalent of a pin cushion then I have the right to keep the knife.”) (It was actually a Friday but who were they to argue with a man bleeding out in an alley.)

Eventually the Batkids start keeping score of who has had the most out of pocket thing said to them by this random white boy.

I have this scene in my head of a giant DC/batfam crossover where everyone in the batfam inherits Bruce's adoption tendencies and he has no clue what to do about it.

Like one day, the batfam find a homeless Peter Parker, end up doing a DNA test, and bam, it's Dick's son. He's around 14, and has that same sunny disposition as his father. The Wayne family has grown by one and they couldn't be happier.

Except... Jason has been acting weird lately...

At first, it was a little weird because he had been spending more time around the manor to see Peter. And then he stopped. Completely cut contact out of nowhere. Dick confronts him and finds a 16 year old Danny Phantom hiding behind his brother with the brightest, green eyed glare Dicks ever seen.

A month later a French class visits.

It's their last trip of their middle school year before highschool. 17 year old Damian Wayne walks in with a 12 year old Marinette who's small, nervous, and is so smart she skipped a grade. Damian is happy to announce that he has a new daughter.

Bruce promptly chokes on air.

I've stumbled down the Peter in Gotham rabbit hole and I've never been the same. Currently I'm on the whole Dick Grayson is Peter Parker's Biological Parent kick along with the Peter contains (part of) the Soul infinity stone. If I were combine these two many misunderstandings may arise for angst, drama, and comedy.

Apologies for my ramblings of this ridiculous possible fic idea.

Isekai'd protagonist Peter Parker is sent to Gotham a few months after the events of No Way Home. He enters Gotham as Peter NOT Spider-man.

Curses his Parker Luck™ and navigates around. -> Bat fam is not going to be involved much in the beginning until shit really hits the fan <-

Won't be spider-manning but that ain't going to stop him from helping the little guy. Since we are combining the soul infinity stone plot, Peter's eyes turn golden at time when he unconsciously uses the stone's abilities. (If you see my vision, you'll know where I'm going with this.)

Peter tries to keep a low profile but he does end up making a bit of a name for himself. It's not until a Gothamite catches wind of eyes that they get terrified and think he's a rogue talon. It doesn't help that the spider bite messed with Peter's thermoregulation (idk if it's canon but I do see this from time to time) so they see that he's vulnerable to cold weather.

Dick is away on a space mission when all this is going down. (I remember a comment on one fic that said Dick's life changing events happen when he's in space. Peter can relate.)

Rumor reaches Bab's as well as the Court of Owls too.

The court sends someone who gets bested in a fight with Peter but they survive being terminated on the pure chance that they got a bit of his DNA. Guess who it matches? Gray Son of Gotham

It's not until the talons are being spotted all over Gotham that puts Peter in the bat's attention.

The bat fam pretty much think Peter is a rogue talon that was raised as a replacement for Dick. Dick’s horrified that his son (his son!) ended up taking his place and trying his hardest to bring Peter home. They think that Peter's abilities are all from the Electrum enhancement. (Wrong) Peter is ignoring and evading the court and the vigilantes while helping out a person or two.

The stone just cranks his spider-sense to over 9000. It will take a while for Peter to realize that he can talk to ghosts cause of this since their visibility can't be distinguished from the living. (Souls are tricky!)
