Anyway I’ve finally figured out a ship name for these two: SunScale. So from now on all my shenanigans shall be tagged with that. Sun because I wanted something fiery (Kai) and grandiose (the Devourer), and scale, well, cuz she’s a snake.
Alright, I see what you people want. Who am I to deny the wishes of the masses? Plus I haven’t drawn the Devourer’s serpentine form in a while, so here she is with her cute little boyfriend. :)

I'm sure nobody involved expected it to turn out like that, haha. That was a last throw away effort by Kai to save his life, and I doubt he expected it to work. I'm pretty sure most of the ninja probably assumed the Devourer was just a beast, not even a sentient creature, so to have her react flustered was probably not something Kai was prepared for.
That being said, I'm not entirely sure what Kai was expecting, pulling a stunt like that.
Also I’m sure Nya chewed him out because of how incredibly stupid that was, but she’s also just glad he’s okay.
