Howdy everyone! The name’s Serpent Fever, but you can call me Serpent. I’m an artist and an avid enjoyer of all things reptilian, especially snakes. Your show got snakes? I’ll probably root for them regardless of if they’re villains or not. I also have a soft spot for monsters and horror aesthetics.

Can I turn your art into my own OCs?

Sometimes I post concept art. Usually these will be serpentine, or some other race from whatever fandom I’m thinking about. I just like drawing snakes and monsters, and not everything I draw is necessarily a character I plan to use. Sometimes it’s just practice getting color palettes and patterns down. If the characters aren’t named, you’re free to take the art I make and turn them into your own characters. :)

I feel like the way the Soul sometimes gets characterized in fanon tends to be excessively malicious in a way that isn’t really how normal people actually play the game, like did you forget that that’s supposed to be you? Like no offense but I would not fcking say that.

#YEAH HONESTLY LIKE #I feel like most snowgrave fics would genuinely be so much more unsettling #If they had the player act like how people ACTUALLY playing snowgrave react #Most playthroughs of snowgrave I've seen usually have the player react with horror at whats happening like #Wow this is fucked up how could anyone do this *keeps playing*#And I think from a horror perspective that's so much more fascinating #It emphasizes a fundamental disconnect between someone playing the game and a character inside the game #People who play snowgrave may feel guilty #many who play it often APOLOGIZE to Kris during the especially fucked up cutscenes #And yet they keep going. Because snowgrave offers some really fascinating insight into the characters of well everyone but ESPECIALLY Kris #That we wouldn't normally get otherwise #And what's wrong with that? After all #its just a game #and isn't that a much scarier perspective for a being controlling you to have?

Hey Soul Eater fandom you know what time it is?

That's right!! Time for Reaper headcanons!!!

Reapers can see in the dark and possess a lucidum tapetum.

They have a natural instinct to guide lost souls to the afterlife. Much like herding dogs, they will even exhibit this natural guiding behavior around the living.

While sensing souls isn't an experience unique to them, they are able to tell when a person is close to death.

They have no bones except for their skull faces. This means they can squeeze into very tight spaces.

Their true forms inspire feelings of paralysis in people who see them, and an overwhelming fear of death. This is why Kid maintains a human form and Lord Death hides behind his cloak and mask. (Asura doesn't reveal his true form mostly out of his intense fear of everything around him, and feeling it leaves him too exposed)

Witches, as beings of destruction, have a natural fear of Reapers, beings of order, which contributes to the long-standing feud between the two of them.

Kid doesn't bleed, not really. The "blood" is a sort of ichor that drips from wounds to his human shell, which in reality is part of his true form slipping through the cracks. It's colored red as a sort of sympathetic mimicry in order to help him pack bond with humans.
