My Morning Coffee

Do you know those little things that make the harder things in life a little easier? I think I am finally starting to learn to appreciate those things. These past couple days of work have flown by! I've been on quick serve for my past three shift and am on QSR again today. I've been on register, filler, burger station, you name the location at sunset and I was there!! But I'm actually starting to really like it here...I've met a lot of awesome people that are really making my time here a lot more enjoyable! Apart from work a few fun things have happened. On Friday after my shift I went into the magic kingdom with one of my friends from work! We rode some rides walked around and got some hot chocolate! It's so nice to have a little break like that and just realize how lucky I truly am! Also I today I finally found someone to cover my shift on my birthday so now I will no longer be working next Thursday! Instead I'm going to have a me day!! Get up early go for a run, get my Starbucks birthday drink, Skype family and friends from back home, and finish off the day by volunteering for Disney's Voluntears!! So I guess this week I've realized you really have to enjoy the company of your friends to make work time fly by, the days in the park fully of Disney magic so you remember why your here, and of course, your morning coffee so when your at work for an early shift (like right now) it makes it that much easier. I don't really care, I just wanna dance!

So today was day two of my weekend, my Sunday! Kelly and I decided to get up early and go to Hollywood Studios!! We went around 9 for park open so we could get fast passes to Toy Story Mania (So worth it!!)!! When we got there and got our fast passes, we didn't have a return untill 3:40 which wasnt too bad, so we had some time to kill!

First we decided that we need to get coffee asap! We discovered a little coffee shop called the Writers Shop that had amazing coffee and pastries! (we also get a 20% cast discount!!) So after we got our Coffee we walked down San Francisco with it and sat on some stairs outside one of the town houses!! Such a cute place and inspired me to want to go to the actual San Fran!! 

Then after coffee we rode some rides, we managed to go on Star Tours and The Great Movie Ride!! They were so much fun, especially Star Tours!! I had no clue what to expect but it was so fun!! Then we walked around Art of Animation and met a munch of the Mickey Gang!! (we me Pluto, Daisy, Donald, and Minnie!!) Also in Art of Animation we decided to go into the Animation Academy!! It was only about a 15 minute wait and we got to draw Rapunzel!! Ours turned out really good, I will be sure to post a picture as soon as possible!! 

When we finished at Art of Animation we were a little hungry so we ventured over to my place of work, Sunset Ranch Market!! We got some food from Rosie's All American Cafe. It was actually pretty good, so yes I would recommend come visiting me over at the Market!! Then after food it was finally our fast pass time!! We went to Toy Story first, it was so much fun!! Kelly kicked my bumm but I was laughing the entire time!! Then we went on Rockin Roller coaster!! and yes, that is now of of my favourite Roller coasters of all time!! (Mom I know you read this, so when you come down we have to get fast passes for this one!! You would love it so much!!) 

When we got done on there it was raining quite a bit so we decided it was time to retire to our home and get ready for the housing event!! It was "Wheres Perry" tonight on the Chatham Field!! We got a picture with Phineas and Fern and we also got a picture with PERRYYYY!!! (which is a HUGEEE deal because he has never even been in a park before!!) It was such a great night!! We also got free pizza, I won some baller swag (and by baller swag I mean a mouse pad and velcro wallet) for coming second in a hula hoop contest, then we basically just has a huge dance party on the field in the rain!!

It was such a fun night and I managed to meet some new people as well!! This place is really starting to become my home and I cant wait for all the adventures i'm gonna have here!! 

But I am unbelievably tired and tommorw its back to the work grind for me!! So have a magical night everyone and I will blog ya'll soon!!

Sunset Ranch Market!!

So today was day 5 of my training, half way there!!  I had the most amazing time at work today. I was on register and kitchen of Fairfax Fair. It has specialty hotdogs, chicken, ribs, and other BBQ type items. When I got there my trainer wasn't available right away so they kinda just threw me in! It was crazy hectic because of Star Wars Weekend but it wasn't too bad and I learned soooooo much!! When my trainer finally got there I went right on to register, she showed me the basics then let me go! I did fairly good, but I learned one very important lesson, the skill of tapping a keg is highly valued at Disney World (I know, surprising, right!!) But basically our keg of bud ran out and none of the other workers currently in Fairfax knew how to tap a keg and they were so surprised when I said I knew how!! :P it was too funny and now half my co-workers think I am this highly skilled food and bev worker!! oh do I have them fooled!! But all in all it was a fun day! I met so many more people (even a french Canadian..and I told him we are gonna be besties!!) Everyone at my work is so nice, it really makes time fly by!! Then the ride home on the bus was so easy and painless! I go out of work pretty much on time and caught the 11:14 bus and went straight home to Chatham!! Now after studying a bit for my online course I decided to brew a decaf a cozy up on tumblr (slash order a new bikini online!!)  But now I am uber tired from the day and have a 10:30am shift tomorrow, I will blog to you all again as soon as possible :) Have a magical night everyone!! <3
