Gavin had moved to Pelican Town a year ago at the "news" of his grandfather having passed away, given his farm in his will -- even though Gavin knew his grandfather was doing very well in the coast of Sicily from his letters. A year later and the whole town has been revitalized, as has his grandfather's farm, with no shortage of hard work on his end and with the help of the friends he made very quickly.
Everything gets better with time -- the farm, the town, wines, most cheeses, Gavin's relationship with a local stray cat he's named Smee... Though his want to ignore his crush on Jeremy and Alfredo, a pair already dating, has gone unheeded by his heart. A year later and his crush has softened into full out love, not that he will admit it. Though, a few conversations may help clear up a few things.
