keung usually leaves the gallery open when he works closings, opting for a couple nights a week off the clock to allow those who might wander the streets at night instead of the day a fair chance to take a peek at the artwork. however, tonight he is happy to close early, dedicating the evening to trixie’s company instead of burying himself in shipping labels and inventory. it isn’t as if he’d mind— happy to put any work into the gallery but it is nice to have an excuse to leave.
locking up the desk and pocketing the keys, keung rounds the corner of it with a sigh of relief. while the buddy system may seem a hindrance to some, he is quite pleased to spend some time with his pack mates. especially on nights where soren or trixie are the ones he winds up with.
comfort surrounds him here, a combination of feeling at home and having her there. the gallery lights are dimmed, the door already locked to visitors. the lights over the display pieces still enough to see clearly within the building. “whatcha feel like doin’ tonight?” he prompts, lazily stretching his arms over his head to get out all the kinks in his back from leaning over the desk.
