Some days Sunniva loved how one of her best friends’ favorite pranks was dropping people through interdimensional portals at a whim.
Those days were only fun when it wasn’t her. Today it was her, and she was going to wring his neck if/when she got back. Seriously, all this magic, and not a single bit of her own could get her home. She’d break one of his little toys later or something. Put the bored King in his place.
Her face must have looked terrifying because everyone in this town she’d managed to come across was avoiding her like the plague. And, oddly, she was somewhat satisfied by that. She hoped she looked angry. If she hadn’t been trying to hide her magic she would have turned the whole town upside down in fury by now. Literally. Well, she was stuck here until either Truman got bored again or Sean stabbed some sense into him (she hoped it would be the latter) so she might as well enjoy it. And of course, on her list of things to do in alternate dimensions was... actually quite a bit. As if this was the first time she’d been shoved into a portal by a whim. Ha! Grabbing the first person to pass by her that didn’t immediately walk away at speed, Sunniva inquired about her first matter.
“Hey, is there a library around here, do you know?”
