Hiii! Good question! So as much as I love Lazy Town and I have so much nostalgia for it because it was like one of my childhood shows, I don't see myself writing a full fic for it, so I'm going to unfortunately say no😔 I adore it of course, but I personally don't have the drive to write content for it. Thank you for asking though! 💕

I'm going out of town to visit family this weekend and I'm not bringing my computer (I know, shocker) so you bet your biscuits that I'm going to try and write fanfic on a 3 hour car ride there with a phone, a notebook, a pen, and a DREAM

Hello hello! I know you don't know me, but I've been a fan of your fics for quite a few months now - to the point where I've even gained the inspiration and confidence to write and post my own! Though, I do need a bit of help with somethin' that's been gnawing at my brain the past few weeks; you're free to ignore this if you want! ^^'

Although I have posted a couple of fics I wrote, I started to notice how people outside of the tk community (other than my best friends ofc) feel about the sfw tk community. I don't wish to make anybody uncomfy, nor do I want people to get the wrong idea about me or to make fun of me for being in the sfw tk community. It's made me lose a bit of that previous confidence. I do enjoy being in this community, as well as making content for it, but what would people outside the community think if they just randomly saw my posts on their feed? How can I regain some of that confidence back and enjoy doing what I love?

Hi hi!!! Wait, omg! That makes me so happy to hear that I’ve inspired you! Literally one of my aspirations in writing (with fics and professional things) is to inspire others, so like to hear my silly fics I do for fun are making an impact is the greatest feeling. Thank you ♥️ And I know we haven’t interacted yet, but I “know” you! I see you liking my posts (which I always love by the way) and I’ve come to recognize your name as one of my “regulars” Lol

To answer your questions, I’m super glad you came to me with this because I’d like to think I have a confident and positive perspective on it (when it comes to the online environment of it all). I'll put my answers below because I typed out a good chunk lol

First things first, do what you love! You’ve probably heard this before, but try not to let the anxiety of what other people will think get to you. Of course, everyone has their own preferences, and that’s okay. If any negativity comes your way because of those differences in preferences (which I hope it doesn’t in a million years), that burden is NOT on you. Someone has the choice not to read something if it doesn’t fit their preference; they have the choice not to comment if for any reason they didn’t enjoy it. And hey, someone that may not usually have the same preferences has the possibility to actually like the fic! You created something that you enjoyed, that other people will enjoy, and you should be proud of it. Focus on those who do care, that do appreciate it, and that includes yourself. You know who you are, you know what your content is, own it like a champ!

With that being said, I also think a lot of us in the tk community (myself included) sike ourselves out with the idea of “Okay, this is a little out of the ordinary people might think it's weird.” But honestly, it seems like a lot of the time, people who aren’t in the community are pretty chill about it, which is great! Most of the time they think it’s super cute just like the rest of us. I just saw the other day that an artist, (who isn’t in the tk community, but made tk art), was super appreciative of the nice comments they got from our community and literally welcomed it with open arms.

When posting any type of art / fic, it is inevitable that someone from outside the community will see it in this vast space of Tumblr. Personally, I think that’s amazing. Sure, the intention may have been to only make it for the specific community, but your work is spreading and being seen by others, being enjoyed by others you may not have expected, and somewhere out there, you could be making someone’s entire day because your work made them happy. You’re taking a “risk” by posting something with the world, but that risk pays off when you see even the small amount of joy from something you created. 

You only miss the chances you don’t take (or some kind of motivational quote like that lol). In this case, if you choose not to write because of the fear of rejection, you’re also missing out on the chance for your writing to bring a little joy into someone’s world. I get it. We get it. It’s scary sometimes (but it shouldn’t be!) The best thing I would say to get your confidence up? Keep writing. Keep making content. Keep posting. Keep going. The more you create, the more confident you will become. 💕

OMGG EXCITED FOR THE FIC

AHHHH!!! Omg all the hype for it is making ME want to post it sooner! Lol. I was originally going to post it on Tuesday, buuuut I finished the ending last night, so it just needs a few more lines and some touch ups, so I could have it ready for tomorrow! But it's also a holiday in the US (Memorial Day) so idk if that would be a bad time to post it  😭

And I'm indecisive and prob overthinking this, SO I'm leaving it up to you all 👀
