Got this strawpage message earlier and wanted to transfer my twt response here in case there’s any other kiryusuo fan that wants to join in and ramble about headcanons here 👀

I think KiryuSuo would argue seriously over Suo’s habit of keeping things to himself, especially the way he jokes, brushes things off, and deliberately derails a conversation when it points too much toward himself. Kiryu would probably feel that Suo doesn’t trust him, and he’d call Suo out on it, maybe even corner him and relentlessly press him to stop lying/joking.

And Suo would get so irritated that he’d become passive aggressive and would dbl down on not sharing about himself. Suo would probably point out how Kiryu also kept his problems to himself (home/family situation). And then Suo might try to redirect the argument toward Kiryu’s bad habit of messing with his phone instead of paying attention to others (including Suo).

They’re both pretty stubborn so I don’t see either backing down easily, but I like to think that they could work it out eventually. Kiryu would promise to be more present when they’re together, and Suo would try to share more about himself a little at a time.

As for more childish arguments, they would jokingly argue about the dumbest things. Like, which of Kiryu’s ugly stuffed animals is cutest? What’s the best gross food combination? Which came first, the chicken or the egg? They’d turn random things into playful arguments. I can also see them dragging their friends into their childish arguments — “Nirei-chan, I’m right aren’t I?” — “Sakura-kun, what do you think?” — “Sugi-chan, you agree, right?” — “Tsugeura-kun, what would be more scary?” — Childish arguments would morph into teasing their friends.
