Some more Wolf!Dean headshots, because 1) I wanted to draw him more and 2) I felt bad that he more or less had the same angle/expression of the first trade image I did (albeit as a human)!

Suoscreative says the left headshot is the most accurate yet, which I'm thrilled to hear, and we both agree that the right headshot pushed the expression further than Dean's usual, but I just couldn't help myself.

Of three trades, Stridar and I are doin' two line-art pieces and one flat color piece - so I figured I'd knock the color piece out! Being a skilled fighter, it seemed apropos that I draw Dean in his element.

As noted in some reblogs, I'm doing a couple art trades with suoscreative - I really like Dean, and she's been doing an AWESOME job on her end! I definitely recommend checking her out.

Dean's enjoying a glass of milk at the bar. Probably counting down in his head how long it takes for someone to make a crack at his choice of beverage.

Have a couple of art trades lined up with my friend suoscreative, and she did a lovely warm-up sketch to try and get a feel for Nick's features. She did quite well, I think (her character, Dean, is on the left, with Nick on the right)!

I did a quick sketch to help better explain what could be tweaked for better accuracy, since I'm (dur) a pretty visual person and wanted to make sure my words made sense when I said "good features, just a little "thicker"".

I actually wound up having to hash my own sketch out a bit with Nora to figure out what I was doing wrong, a lot of which lied in the nose, but now I think I've got it just about right. It's hard to find that balance between "pretty boy" lean/lithe with contours and cheekbones, and "meaty jock" face, which is of course where Nick resides, like an asshole.

There's not a lot on her Tumblr yet, but you should definitely check it out for some radical Dean Hunter art! I like him a lot!
