1. Are you named after anyone? newp. I have just about the plainest name given to American 80′s ladies. But I like how it shortens, so it’s cool. (Except for 7th grade, right around when Forrest Gump came out... God that was awful...)
2. When was the last time you cried? A few weeks ago I was a mess about a loved one who landed in the hospital who we were almost sure we were going to lose. We didn’t... but I stayed a mess for a couple of weeks keeping in mind that really... it’s still just a matter of time. I am NOT a crier... so that was not awesome.
3. Do you have want kids? No. Never have. Small children scare me more than many other scary things. There are about 3 that I like.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? I used to. But it was too easy for my words to end up being mean and thoughtless and somehow, somewhere along the way, I became much more straightforward and careful about how I say things. I am very honest and clear and with a kind purpose in the big picture... and if I don’t have a kind purpose in saying something, I won’t say anything at all.
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people? How they treat other people, especially people in service/trying to help them.
6. What’s your eye color? blue/green.
7. Scary movie or happy ending? happy ending. I do not like scary things (I like creepy, but not scary)
8. Any special talents? I think I’m an excellent question asker.
9. Where were you born? Illinois, USA (Chicago suburbs) ...And I apparently still have the accent despite not living there since I was 10.
10. What are your hobbies? writing, video games, reading, screwing around on the internet, online window-shopping, collecting handbags
11. Do you have any pets? An old diva of a dog named Stella
12. What sports do you play/have you played? does League of Legends count? ;) I played softball years and years ago... but honestly the most physically intensive thing I did was marching band in high school (which is actually VERY physically intensive, tyvm)
13. How tall are you? 5′3″ (aka SHORT)
14. Favorite subject in school? American History and English
15. Dream job? Teaching American History and English (which I do. 😊) Though I have other things I’d like to do someday, I’m quite happy for now.
