Oh yeah, finished this lil thing. I used culture hustles ultra black and super glitter, with glow in the dark paint on the crystals. There was no real inspiration besides painting some flowers 🌺

This was based on a Make-A-Wish Foundation call for artist to make a wonderful child’s, named Christian, wish come true. He wishes to be Batman! But due to licensing and copyright they are unable to make that exact wish. So here’s the next best thing. The first drawing is his version of super hero named SUPER BLACK and his little brother side kick, SUPER RED. Favorite colors are blue and black and he has a pet turtle named Spike.  Artists have made poster renditions of his drawing as a super hero and were going to be printed. I sadly did not make the deadline for the submissions but went ahead and made it anyways for people to enjoy. Hopefully Christian will get to still see it too.

Super Black !

SUPER BLACK...inspired by actor RON O’NEAL...

An italian fumetto, just a mini-serie...Super Black was a hard-boiled, bad ass, coke snorting guy on the edge of the law who had to handle, and hard to handle, with different villains...sometimes he was engaged by the FBI, or the CIA, or the Narcotics (if they promised him a big loot).

The cover artist, as well as  the drawer of the stripes, were inspired by actor Ron O’Neal .

I liked this little serie a lot, because of the main character’s atypical behaviour and the “politically incorrect” tone of the stories.
