super connection / @yvongjvstice / clark and conner
Clark resisted the urge to puff out his chest in utter pride and hug the young hero, he'd been looking over Conner's training sessions for a while now and finally getting the chance to watch the boy in action was in a lack of words, Super. He was everything Clark was and possibly even better he was happy the two of them weren't each other's throat because god he'd get shown up easily in a one on one scenario not that he'd ever admit it to the youngster.
Clark floated down from his sky-eyed position into plain view of Superboy an ever happy smile plastered across his face "You did well for yourself so---" Clark abruptly topped midway from calling Conner son, he still wasn't sure what to refer Conner too, was the boy actually his son? he did have half of his DNA after all, or maybe a brother? The Kent's had been raising him just as they'd raised Clark those many moons ago, or perhaps just Con was just a friend but even he could admit that felt too strange because whatever they shared it was something greater than that.
"Mom and dad would be proud to see your training coming along... I mean Martha and Jonathan... not me... Not that I’m proud because I am proud of you amazingly proud if that means anything" It wasn't often the big guy was stumped but it seemed his mini-me just brought it out in him more than ever as of late.
