More Vivos (+ Some Extra Funsies)
Got yet another batch of drawings for y'all, including some new vivosaur ideas that I'm stoked to share with y'all.
First up we have Jinfryx, a Fire attribute vivosaur based on Jinfengopteyx, the Golden Phoenix. A small relative of Troodon that had the ability to fly. This would be a vivosaur with amazing support potential, both giving off high support effects and also having powerful utility moves to give any allies a much needed boost in battle.
And from some of the best support effects to what may end up having the absolute worst we have Saurax, a Neutral attribute based on the maybe allosaurus or maybe its own fellow, Saurophaganax. I wasn't originally going to add this dinosaur to my list because of how many large carnosaurs the game has already, but I recently found out the bones of this guy are actually heavily radioactive, and I couldn't pass up the idea of a radioactive vivosaur now could I! This guy of course would be able to dish out poison and even infection with its skills, and while the vivosaur itself isn't going to give you radiation sickness just by standing next to it (don't want to be letting a real health hazard into a fair fighting tournament now do we), its support effects sure do make allied vivosaurs feel like that's what it's doing.
BONUS
I'm gonna be starting a secondary series where I take selected Super Evolver vivosaurs and give them personal touchups, while still keeping the core concept of the vivosaur alive. Starting with Bulgon and Marple, two chibi vivosaurs who while cute, I personally think could've been made even better with minor adjustments, in Bulgon's case it was just a case of it trimming away anything that made it distinctly feel Tsintao related (i.e. the crest). So I decided to give it a sharp horn in the touchup in order to evoke the same vibes that the crest did, while also still being different enough from Tsintao for Bulgon to feel like an actual upgrade.
Marple on the other had does a fine enough job of looking like a Plesio Super Evolver, but it's hard to see any of the floral patterns due to its solid yellow colouring, and therefor the design looks a lot more bland that it actually is. That being said I could not resist the urge to turn Marple into a marketable plushie so the little guy did end up getting a bit more of a notable change, with pink flowers and added stiches and orange bits to make it pop a bit more.
Will probably at least draw every single Super Evolver even if some of them don't receive touch-ups, there are a couple like T-Rex Lord, Lugmos and Ryden that I honestly think were basically perfect for the animal they represent, but still look pretty fun, if a but dauting to doodle. As for recolour SEs I'm honestly not sure what to do with them but I'll figure something out eventually.
Hey guys whats up I hate using in game models for references hahahaaaa
thats SUPPOSED to be a dimorph ace but his colors are. incredibly bad.

Super Evolver Names Decoded Part 1
Tyrannosaurus Lord - Tyrant Lizard Lord. :T Just a replacement of the Latin "rex" with the English "lord", which derives from the Old English "hlaford", meaning "master of household; ruler; superior." Note that the Japanese name translates to "Hell Lord".
Giga Allosaurus - Giga Different Lizard. Again, just the addition of a word, or in this case, the prefix "giga-", which typically refers to a billion of something. It was arbitrarily formed based on the Greek word "gigas", meaning giant in English.
Giga Altispinax - Giga With High Spines. As above, Giga was added. "Alti" comes from Latin "altus" which is high and Neolatin "spinax" which means with spines.
Velociripper - Swift Ripper. "Veloci" is based on Latin "velox", meaning swift of speedy. "Ripper" is a noun not only used as a noun form of the verb "rip", but was also coined from infamous London serial killer Jack the Ripper, and means "killer who mutilated his victims." This is used in order to emphasize Velociripper's ability to rip things with its sharp talons. Note that the Japanese name translates to "Killer Claw," which parallels the use of Ripper as refering to the serial killer.
Despinosaurus - "Off/Complete" Spine Lizard. Despinosaurus gets tricky. There are actually plenty of different ways to interpret the name. "de-" is a latin prefix. In literal terms it was used to descibe something being "down, off, away, down from." In modern English, the prefix is used in much the same way. This can describe how Despinosaurus is an "Off" Spine Lizard, in that it actually has none of the features it was named for. In Latin, "de-" was also used to mean "down to the bottom, totally, completely" and is also used this way in English. Since Despinosaurus is a Super Evolver, it can also be considered the "Complete" form of Spinosaurus. "De-" also gives additional meaning in that it functions as a inverter of verbs, like defrost or defuse. With that in mind, one can consider that it "inverts" the attributes of Spinosaurus, going from a large theropod of 42 feet whose main features were a crocodile-like jaw and a large sail on its back, to a small, swift theropod 16 feet long featuring large talons and a raptor-like "killer claw." Finally, the "de" can come from the first two letters of "death," paralleling Velociripper, as Despinosaurus's name, in Japanese, is "Death Claw."
Oviraptor Fiend - Egg Robber Fiend. Oviraptor Fiend adds the word "fiend" to Oviraptor, which comes from the Old English "feond," which originally meant the opposite of "friend," an adversary or foe. However, it began to be used to refer to the Devil, Satan (Satan literally meaning adversary, being the "enemy of mankind"). Thus, "fiend" now refers to a diabolical being. This is congruent with its Japanese name, which literally translates to "Hell Satan."
Rydentrodon - Thunder God (Turning?) Tooth. Rydentrodon is a bit of an enigma. Splitting the name into Ryden|tro|don offers a corruption of Raiden, the Japanese God of thunder (and incidentally, Ryden's Japanese name), as well as the common root "-don" which means "tooth." "Tro," then, finds itself lacking of a definite meaning. The closest current Greek or Latin root is "trop" meaning turning. However, the most likely scenario is that "tro" was added to the name to make it flow better than "Rydendon." It is interesting to note that splitting the name Ry|dentro|don gives the name the meaning of "tooth" twice, but leaves the most notable part, "ryden" out of the picture.
So, here's the next Christmas doodle! A jumbo sized Nycto Ace! Tumblr kinda killed the quality, but I hope you like it anyways!
Again, you guys can still request Vivosaur drawings! I'm keeping this running until the 4th of January, so keep asking for doodles! (You can request multiple Vivos/Zombiesaurs/Boneysaurs/Dinaurs if you want, I don't care. XD)
Guyssss. I'm here to bug you again about Fossil Fighters. You all probably hate me by now XD
So remember that role-swap AU for Champions that Shay posted? The one where the BB Brigade is the Patrol Team? Yeah, I figured out the funniest thing that could possibly exist in that universe. Personalities, possible Vivosaur team, heck, even their outfits don't really matter. You know what does? The fact that Cole would own a freaking Marple. I mean, he'd obviously have a Plesio since he has B-Plesio in the normal universe, and usually the characters Super Evolve their 'signature' Vivosaurs.
I can just see it riding on his head like, "Look at me. I'm a chibi-type Plesio thing covered in flowers riding on a hipster. Pull out your phones and take a picture, this is really happening."
