Came the voice of the idle from behind him, her tone one of forced casualness, the awareness of him being able to see through her made her attempt at acting unconcerned that much more easy to see through. In truth though, she had wanted to greet him, unsure how to, she had opted for her question. A choice she regretted.
Barnaby twisted around, his curls bouncing with the swift movement. Just what exactly did this girl want now? Those emerald eyes focused dead on her with a gaze so sharp it could probably cut through steel. "No, he's not," Barnaby replied, quirking an eyebrow as he placed a hand on his hip. "Are you looking for him?"
