oooooh boy probably day and age. the feather jacket was so good and I feel like he was becoming more confident as an artist.
9) Is there a particular song that means the most to you personally?
probably a dustland fairytale or flesh and bone. buckle up because I'm about to Overshare On Main. so before and after my grandfather (who acted as a father to me) passed away I would just listen a dustland fairytale and goodnight travel well on repeat. I still can't listen to either of these songs without crying. and for flesh and bone I had fully gotten into the killers when I was in freshman year of college which was also the time I was struggling really badly with mental health and self destructive behavior. listening to this song grounded me and the line "what are you afraid of? and what are you made of? flesh and bone" just .. hit different
16) Are there any songs that you will passionately defend against naysayers?
neon tiger is my baby and I don't get why people hate it so much. also all of the demos
17) Do you tend to prefer their most bombastic songs, or do you gravitate more towards the softer side of TK?
hmmm this one's hard because I find their softer songs immensely comforting but I'd have to go with their more bombastic song because there's nothing like driving at night and listening to runaways and seeing any of them live is *chefs kiss*
