My dad and his friends call me Phoenix =D
It's my name on facebook, and I have told him that I'm genderqueer, but they've met me as Lyddy, and he seemed like gender was nbd and obvious, so I don't know if he's told anyone or anything...
But he called me Phoenix (actually Phœnix) in a comment where it wouldn't have confused anyone to say Lyddy (as the rest was an in joke anyway, and it was just us commenting) and one of his friends called me Phoe in a comment on my status.
And yes, my dad's friend group is goth so they're more used to people reinventing themselves or being called unusual names. But it really feels like this is a group of people who are unconcerned with binary or cis expectations and totally accepting/supportive of me as Phoenix.
It's a really great feeling.
