Thistlewind! I like to think that despite taking up a weapon, he’s always been a pacifist at heart, his staff is only for self defense. He wandered often, but always returned with stories and jokes to share. Thistlewind was an avid storyteller, and he tended to share those stories with other bugs over a fresh meal.
Galien! He was once a well-renowned member of the royal guard, known for his strength and perseverance. However, he hailed from Deepnest, which put him in poor standings with his peers. Though kind the big bug was always stubborn, and he wished to prove his worth, which ultimately led to his undoing. He was the Ogrim before Ogrim, per se.
No Eyes! She cared very deeply about those that befriended her or otherwise entered her care, prior to the infection. It wasn’t uncommon for bugs to accidentally call her their mother. She was never one to turn away someone in need, no matter who or what they were. However, she was known to worry a little too much, often times being too protective and thus stifling though she had the best of intention. Though, overall, most felt secure enough with her that they fled to her when the infection began to spread.
