not to be that guy or anything but ive been reading a lot of superbat lately and noticed that theres like a certain way that dceu superbat is written most of the time and has seriously put me off if its them 😭😔 which is a shame because i wanna read more superbat but like dceu superbat??

like okay superbat as a flavour is almost always but dceu superbat even though its the same flavour just feels different if that makes sense

Hey anon! While I completely understand where you're coming from,I fear I'm not the right person for this lol.

I'm more of a fanon/vibe girly myself,I haven't watched/read any DC related movies or comic books (because of my baseless disinterest of hetero relationships) except Batman 2022 and Superman 2025.

And all the love I have for superbat stems from the dcau cartoons I used to watch and it made a sucker for their bromance and romance simultaneously. I wasn't into DC or superbat heavily while the dceu was more prevalent,so I have no attachment to it.

Though I would say some of the materials from the dceu should have been explored more because they are fascinating but other than that I really don't have any notes for it.

I don't know if people see this as me being shallow but I really don't give a fuck about which actor's character is being portrayed in a fic as long as it's a good fic with intresting premise. Like it could be batfleck or supercavill or corensupes or battinson or any iteration of the character, as long as I find the fic interesting I'm going to read it and I don't care what anyone thinks about that lol 😂 cuz I've never understood how people could just pass on some really good fics just because a certain actor is not playing that character in the fic,but I guess each to their own.

I disregard canon like my exams,it doesn't mean jackshit to me lmao. I work entirely on my own and other people's good headcanons about them all the time.
