Here's a huge throwback circa 10 years ago! I went to @gapplecomics to meet @robkirkman and get his autograph on my Super Dinosaur, Invincible, and TWD books! I had been collecting them for years and was super excited to meet one of my favourite writers. Lo and behold, they had a Super Dinosaur character outside as well! The poor person was cooking in the suit, but also made the experience that much more memorable. What I prize the most from those autographs is that I asked Robert to draw a character for me in the book where he signed. He then said, "you know, I'm not the artist", to which I slyly smiled and said, "I know... I just want something different." He's actually quite the artist and it was really cool seeing him draw Rick, zombies, as well as Mark and the rest of the gang. Books have always been and will continue to be one of my passions. They were the gateway that inevitably led me toward the world of cosplay.
