This is my Valentine’s chocolate and I. I spent a little extra and bought the “elegant” collection this year, and guess what? What I’ve eaten so far has been great and I deserved it. ❤️ Out of nowhere a week ago I randomly decided that I would dress up every day until Valentine’s Day proper and take #superextra photos like I love doing. Obviously the overall theme of the respective holiday is love, and while I would get ready every night I thought about “love” quite a bit. It had me feeling regretful, thankful, and all sorts of other things along the way. In the end I really do think love is for the lucky. From personal experience I know that it is sometimes easy to take love for granted even if you are truly in love with someone or someone is in love with you. In truth, however, to love and be loved in return is a gift that is not guaranteed, and is something that should be cherished. After the past (incredibly rough) couple of years I’ve had, I’ve finally realized that you can’t let it haunt you forever if you’ve loved in the past but no longer love the same amount/way/person now. You are still a valuable soul who deserves good things, and who, what, when, where, and why you love doesn’t define you, it only adds to the person you already are as you feel and express those feelings in your own way. So here’s to those that are in love, and here’s to those that aren’t. Worthy are us all.
