Friday, August 2nd, 1996 - Halifax pop band The Superfriendz are driving back from the USA with their new 10" "Play the Game, Not Games", looking for shows to play on the long drive home. I volunteer my student house and back yard on Erb Street in Waterloo, a terrible idea that Colin MacKenzie immediately agrees to.

Two songs in, it begins to rain, so the concert is moved into the recentyl vacated basement apartment. I stood in the doorway of the bathroom for the entire show, and didn't really see anything. The photos only vaguely express how sweltering it was; that's more than rock 'n' roll sweat dripping off the band.
