So today I randomly wrote a scene from Superheroes Anonymous in Kiki’s point of view instead of Gail’s and it’s making me realize I don’t remember a thing about my own series.

Hey my book is out today if you wanna buy it or something.
Do you like:
Sarcastic leading ladies who are just doing their level best
Deadpan best friends and business partners
Canon gay relationships
A superhero who is maybe part shark
Jokes about every superhero trope under the sun
Nutritional supplement bars that are literally called crap-cakes
Established relationships with low-grade drama
The greatest supervillain frenemy of all time
Well then you might like this little series that could about a chronic hostage named Gail, who changes the world when she gets the chance to be the one saving the day for once. It’s now a complete series, four books for less than $20. You can see synopses and buy links here:

#Herofail
Hey, the first chapter of #HEROFAIL is now up on my official author website. Like a boss.

Who’s your most favorite to write, in and out of Gailverse? This is question #1, it think
Oh god 100000000000000% Raze. I love Raze. I love Angélica, too, but I LOVE Raze so much.
And Gail. Which is a good thing, as I’ve been with her for 327,000 words now.
But seriously, look at this chaotic neutral dork:
Silence stretched over the bar until—
Clang.
All five of us jumped. Raze, who’d slammed her third and final shot glass onto the bar top, didn’t notice. She let out a ladylike burp. “Sal, I could use another one of those,” she called toward the back room.
“You can drink at a time like this?” I asked.
“They’re threatening you, not me.”
for the wip game: 13, 14, 15
Some of these are difficult to play with fic, so I’ll go with the Gailverse for this. Wow.
13: Your characters are stranded on a deserted island. What happens?
Gail sighs and says Not again because with her background with supervillains, do you really expect she hasn’t been dumped on a deserted island? Vicki and Guy would just...fly? back to society? Angélica, Gail, and Kiki would probably be all smart about it and construct a shelter and find food because they’re all kind of super competent. Jeremy would, for plot reasons, probably die unless the professor is there and they build a generator out of coconuts.
14: Have you chosen birthdays for any of your characters? If so, when are they?
Yes, and they’re usually based on friends’ birthdays. Guy shares a birthday with Violet Bartowski, both of whom inherited my best friend’s birthday. I looked in my scrivener file for this and here we go:
Gail Godwin: May 5th
Guy Bookman: October 28th
Jeremy Collins: September 10th (mxpw’s birthday)
Vicki Burroughs: July 24th (mom’s birthday)
Kiki Davenport: December 17th
Angélica Rocha: February 2nd
Brooklyn Gianelli: August 27th
No birthday listed for Jessie (and Eddie) or Naomi. Huh.
15: Do you know your characters' MBTI personalities?
Uh, hmm.
Gail Godwin: ISTP
Guy Bookman: INFP
Naomi Gunn: ESTJ
Jeremy Collins: ESTP
Vicki Burroughs: ENTP
Kiki Davenport: ISFJ
Angélica Rocha: ENTJ
Brooklyn Gianelli: INTJ
Rules: list ten of your favorite female characters in ten different fandoms and then tag ten people.
I was tagged by @beasymphony, whose name I just completely blanked on in an Am I losing my mind??? sort of way just now. I am more than aware that this is just going to be like my Chessboard of Awesome Ladies.

1 and 20 for the WIP game
I’ve got two in progress and one’s kind of already out in the world, so the second is: Gail fucks up bad and everything explodes.
(Hence it being called #Herofail)
An excerpt:
“Hey,” I said politely to the guard on the ground who’d just watched his workplace implode, “do me a favor? Call Davenport. I think they’re going to want to know about this.
“Oh and also I need help.” And I passed out cold for the second time that day.

13) Who is your least favourite character to write for? Why?
Oh my god. In the Gailverse? It’s Guy. Or at least, he’s the most challenging because I really want to write Gail doing all the punchy punchy quippy stuff, but when Guy’s around, I have to write feelings.
I hate feelings.
