Shout out and thank you post (that I can’t believe I forgot to write) for my old carer, good friend, and adopted family member Hanna, who brought us all these goodies (plus milk) this weekend 😭🥰💖!! We’d asked if anyone could pick up some buscopan, and when Hanna offered to get it and anything else we needed, we requested milk. The other stuff was a total surprise and it honestly made all of our day! I had been having a Bad Day physically and emotionally and was super grumpy; this kind gesture turned my whole day around. Hanna was my lead carer with adult CHC, and one of my best friends as well as excellent carer and incredible person; she’s shaped me into who I am today. It just goes to show the impact we have on each other’s lives as carers and cared for; those relationships and friendships often stand the test of time and last lifetimes. Apparently Hanna has sensed via my social media that “there was a mood” in our house, and she thought sweets and my fave coffee sachets would help; she was right. This may seem like a small act of kindness to some, but to me it means everything. Thank you Han; I dream of the day I’ll be able to give you a big thank you hug ❤️ you’re a superhero! Love you lots ❤️ #superherosarereal #grateful #thankyou (at Llansamlet) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-bXrvIjqc9/?igshid=1bui3ijxnl7p2
