Im gonna redraw jean & paul cus they were the first ones I did and I struggled on accurately representing both of their features waah
Also i have some headcanons for all of them lalala under the cut
INMATE HEADCANONS
> Paul Guaye
* Imo he is originally from Africa and is a 2nd generation (LEGAL) immigrant
* Either west or east african... Specifically Nigeria, Ghana, or Kenya
* Enjoys doing drag, but is ashamed of it. This is mostly because of the misogyny that exists in an all male prison. He is unashamed about his love for fashion and home decor, but very ashamed of his drag persona.
* If he wasn't an inmate, he would be a famous home designer or realtor
* His favorite food is his mother's Kachumbari (tomato salad), because she uses specific herbs and spices that "really bring out the flavor"
* Despite his claims, he would still be with Jean if they weren't in prison. They have a natural chemistry imo, even though they disagree a lot
> Jean Baptiste Le Ghei
* French-Italian! His family has lived in America for generations but they tend to only have french or italian couples.
* Compensating for his fragile masculinity. He comes off as tough because he is too insecure to admit to himself a lot of things
* Hates his father. This one is canon. His father disowned him for being gay.
* He is a very sensitive man, despite how he seems. He genuinely wishes he were better at expressing himself so he could be a better husband to Paul.

* Specifically from Northeast India, so he was given the name Ishaan (for its reference to the guardian of the northeast in Hinduism)
* 3rd generation immigrant from a very large, traditional family
* Has been divorced 3 times
* Had hamsters as pets in his smoke shop before it was closed.
> Gary Sedi
* Japanese and East African (on his mother's side)
* His mother died when he was very young, resulting in his mutism / nonverbalism due to PTSD. He watched her die
* He also has low support needs autism
* His special interest is ornithology
* I dont have much on him he literally doesnt do that much
> Nicky
* In superjail for grand theft auto
* Very intelligent, was a gifted kid in his earlier years.
* Also autistic, and diagnosed with ASPD
* If you noticed I didn't add where hes from thats because he's totally white. CAUCASIANNNN. Though, I think he could be very vaguely italian. Like on his great grandfathers side or smth
> Ash Firin
* Native American & white. His mother was native american
* The above is why his comfort character is a native man from an old cowboy movie series.
* Uses he/they pronouns
* Has ADHD & was in therapy for PTSD before his imprisonment (the therapy did not help)
* Very cute and silly I want to be his mother

Warden - Probably aceflux and Pansexual, but EVERYONE agrees he's Pansexual and it's Canon I THINK that's he ace. I also hc him agender but that's how I see it
Jared - Bisexual. Probably in denial, also cis idk
Alice - obviously she's transgender i like to think she's straight because she said something about how she doesn't date chicks anymore because they are needy. Now that I think about it maybe...maybe she could be bi
The doctor - I think he's Pansexual like the warden. thats it. Also I ship him x the warden...think about it.... also he's a freak we know that tho
The mistress - OKAY I KNOW I'M HEADCANONING MOST AS PANSEXUAL BUT HEAR ME OUT SHE'S OMNISEXUAL! I think she's mostly into women after what happened with Alice. But she does date Bruce so idk
Stingray - homophobic. Calls superjail "Sissyjail" sorry stingden fans (it's okay I'm into it too. I like toxic yaoi)
Twins - idk their aliens probably don't have genders, i think they reproduce asexual I PROMISE I'M NOT A SUPERJAIL LARPER OK MY HEAD HURTS BAD I CAN'T REMEMBER

Nicky
Italian
Used to be fluent in Italian as a child but didn't speak it as much as a teenager and mostly forgot it as an adult
Not a dog lover but really cared and loved that dog
Only child, but lived with his cousins, uncles, aunties, grandpa and his single mom
In his mid 30s
He was never IN the mafia but definitely some of his uncles and friends are in the mafia, who were mostly associates and soldiers. He was friends with almost every criminal in NYC (mostly because of his friends and uncles) and still keeps contact with them.
He was a scammer. Used to scam people by being a fake taxi driver and selling fake tickets. He got caught by an undercover cop when he was in the airport, picking up tourist
Always skipped and Didn't pay attention to his class. Definitely cheated in every exam and passed. Was able to graduate High School but never went to College
The arm tattoo is his girlfriend, from Cleveland
Ash Firin
Long lost half brother of Nicky (this Headcanon was from this tumblr user cobalt-punk? I think. Who said that Ash's dad looked similar to Nicky and I really liked that HC, so it stuck with me)
In his mid 20s
Pushed around a lot by his "friends” and forced him to join their crimes because of his speciality in fire
Was caught by Jailbot, after he accidentally burned down the hospital when petting the pony (during s3 ep10). Also he was in that hospital because his friends left him behind and he got beaten up by the guys who were chasing them
Didn't have any extended family to take care of him, after his dad abandoned him.
His love for fire started after the incident in the theater and got his fire powers when he was in superjail (probably because of the twins)
Had a lonely childhood, most of the kids bullied or were scared of him because of his appearance (after the incident in the theater).
Might have set a kid's hair on fire when he was in the orphanage
Lived in the orphanage until he was 18. Was never adopted
Gary Sedi
In his early 40s
Was a serial killer and a librarian (idk he gives me that vibe)
Had a good childhood, never bullied or abused but was super anti social and his only friend was Bird
Lived in a small town during childhood and early adulthood
I think his real voice is soothing and he's able to change the way his voice sounds, before his old warden cuts his tongue. Because i REFUSE to believe that's his real voice
Bird has been with him since he was a kid, given to his parents as a birthday gift
His weakness: When he doesn’t have his glasses on he can’t see shit
Definitely one of the healthiest and well kept inmates. Has his American Psycho routine
Back then, even if he had his tongue and vocal cords he was a very quiet man. He was friendly (maybe not sincere) to people and talked if needed
The Warden is actually pretty short compared to most of the inmates (and people in General). One of the reasons he constantly makes Jared tag along is because Jared makes the Warden look taller than he actually is.
If someone brings up Warden’s height, he’ll immediately deflect it by making fun of Jared’s height.
Jared has been using math as a coping mechanism against Superjail’s insanity. (Sometimes it works, Sometimes he’s stealing drinks from Superbar)
whenever the Warden does something rational or makes a logical decision, it freaks both the inmates and staff out.
Warden isn’t sure whether to be amused or offended by their reactions
Jared is actually the most social person out of all the staff? Alice is introverted, the doctor is terrifying, Jailbot is focused mostly on carrying out the warden’s orders and receiving his parental affection, and Warden is Warden.
Nicky and Ash low-key have a sibling bond fight me
The Warden lets the Twins stick around Superjail mainly because he feels like he can relate to their situation. (A father who acts violent and doesn’t have time for ‘nonsense’? Like hell would Warden force them to go back home.)
The Warden totally kidnapped the twins and returned them to Superjail after the episode ‘Troubles with Triplets’ and no-one can change my mind.
The Warden tends to be paranoid of his inmates and staff. (CoughcoughDREAM MACHINEcough)
And Last but not least;
Warden secretly appreciates Jared’s company but he can’t bring himself to admit it.
The Warden’s all-time favorite movie is Paul Blart: Mall Cop. He makes Jared and Alice watch it with him all the time, and he’s played it during Superjail’s movie matinees at least a dozen times. Stingray, on the other hand, hates it with every ounce of his being.
Hey everyone! I still don’t like most of my art well enough to post it, so here are some Mistress-specific headcanons for now! I’m genuinely surprised how many I have lol
-In contrast to the warden’s noodley physique, the mistress is actually pretty dang toned and enjoys working out
-She can actually shapeshift and alter her appearance just like the warden, just does it less often and for more practical matters (such as changing clothes and making herself look nice)
-Honestly a pretty nice person once you get to know her, and even a little quirky, though before Stingstress she covered it up with her cold and stern persona
-Like the warden, she had a very bad childhood that led to her completely leaving reality and building “the greatest prison in the universe”, maybe I’ll write her one someday lol
-Was born in 1965, due to the same age regression as the warden she appears to be in her late 20s
-Is a lesbian and was never really attracted to Stingray, warden or Bruce (except for that one time with the bees but we don’t talk about that)
-Had a LOT of bad past relationships (hence the line “eh, I’ve been called worse things than a thing”)
-LOVES Pixar movies, but refused to tell anyone until after she changed into a peace-loving hippie
-Similar to how the warden suffers from nightmares, she struggles with sleep paralysis and gets it several times a month
-5’8, slightly taller than the warden
-Listens to a wide variety of music, but her current favorite is 60s-70s psychedelic rock due to being a hippie (duh). She also enjoys heavy metal and lofi.
-Since warden has a real name, I feel like a name that suits her is Lucy :) still working on a HC last name
That’s all so far! She’s genuinely one of my favorite SJ characters, even though I think she was kinda done dirty by the writers and I wish she had more screen time ^_^
