In an era of dwindling attractions in combat sports, former K-1 champion Yuki Yoza is one of the true blue "must watch" fighters out there. Just a genuine 1 of 1 type of fighter. One of the most unique, creative, varied and dangerous kickers in all of combat sports.
So needless to say his fight with English Muay Thai star Jonathan Haggerty is easily one of the best fights going on so far this year. On paper anyway. If nothing else, it's a cool clashing of two stylistic anomalies. Yoza and Haggerty will face off this Wednesday (April 29) at ONE Samurai 1: Rodtang vs. Takeru 2.
