The SMCU Collab
Landing in the matrix, tryna break it
Welcome to the 7th collab hosted by the wonderful me, @taemin-jaemin. The theme of this collab is SMCU, i.e., the SM Cinematic Universe.
.Rules
- The theme of this collab is SMCU. That is, you are required to pick a member from SM Entertainment, pick a MV, and base your story on the storyline of the MV. You an also use some of the bigger theories around which the SMCU is based on.
- There is no limit to the number of idols who can be in this collab, as long as they are an idol of SM.
- A writer can write maximum for 3 members. Each member can have a maximum of 2 writers. No song can be repeated though. There are millions of song by SM so no repetitions please.
- For EXO you can choose any of the 12 members.
- Please stick to the story line of the MV you choose. Theories can be added to the story.
- If you are including the characters from other bands, make sure they fit the theory.
- Please select a song of the member you are writing for.
- Discord isn’t mandatory but I would highly recommend it. I will be uploading all the theory and storyline related content in Disocrd.
- A lot of writers might not know the extreme details of all the SMCU theories, except for some famous ones like the Red Force or KWANGYA. So if you want more information, please don’t hestitate to ask me. I’ll help you as much as I can. I’ll try to upload as muh information as I can in Discord.
- Only 18+ writers can write smut. If you are 16+, you can write suggestive content.
- No smut for Chen, Jonghyun, Sungchan, Chenle, Jisung or any of the Aespa members.
- If you want to write stories based on the SMCU theories, it is highly recommended that you take members from Aespa, Red Velvet, NCT, EXO or Taemin.
- Choosing a song is mandatory even if you are basing it off some theories.
- All fics must be member x reader or member x oc. For the ease of writing, the reader doesn’t need to be gender neutral. Just mention it in the pairing. The reader has to be inclusive though.
- Works that include the following themes are not allowed between the main pairing: abuse, rape, dub-con, non-con, pedophilia, incest, explicit gore, romanticisation of mental issues, and triggering topics.
- No plagiarism!
- Any genre is allowed.
- The minimum word count is 1k. There is no maximum.
- The entry deadline is June 2022 and the dropout deadline is July 2022.
- The deadline is December 2022 but you are welcome to upload the fic any time before.
- Any change in url, please dm me.
- If you would like to join the collab, please dm me along with the name of the member you want to write for and the mv.
