To My Dearest Chop:
There's a reason why I asked you to read this letter when you got home or were away from me. You know that I'm not really great with good-byes, not that this is good-bye or anything. I could never say goodbye to you. It just going to be a while until you hear from me again. As I have explained in person, I can't really share the details, and please... don't say anything to the family back home, when you go visit. Just, give them a big hug and kiss for me when you get to see them. Tell them that you saw me and I was healthy. I know that was pretty gloomy to say, but I promise you I'll be alright. You trust me right? No one will hurt me. Noah will make sure of it. And as soon as I can, I will call you when I get the green light.
I want you to know, that I'm so incredibly proud of you. For the person you have come to be. Proud that with every situation and obstacle that has come your way, you have managed to come out victorious and strong - with dignity and pride. I've learned so much from you and I will never, ever, in my life look up to anyone as much as you. I will never experience the kind of love that you have given me. I hope that one day, I can make you just as proud. Don't ever, ever, doubt yourself. You can do anything you set your mind to. You're amazing. Believe in yourself.
Please remember, that you will always be the Chop to my Lamb. No matter where we are or go in life, that is a constant in my heart - something that will never change, no matter what.
Also...
Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life I love you more In my life I love you more
All of my love,
Your Lamb.
P.S. Take care of Lambchop and her blankey, Mr. Blue, for me? Though my rough times may still be coming, I feel like it's your turn to have them. No worries, I said the little rhyme that switches them from protection mode to good luck mode. :)
P.P.S. I'll talk to you soon, promise.
P.P.P.S. I love you.
