Supernauts is a game I had on my radar for a while, but until now, not many details were know about this superhero simulation other than it had gorgeous graphics.
Developed at the Finnish studio Grand Cru, the game finally received a preview yesterday at Polygon. They report that the building phase of the game is not unlike Minecraft, while missions involve Lemmings style puzzle solving.
Studio's CEO Markus Pasula quoted LittleBigPlanet and Lego bricks as inspiration besides Minecraft. "When we founded the studio, we wanted to make games for creative people," he told Polygon. "So we looked at the games that allow people to do that and thought of how we could bring it to mobile."
