#terranigma is an action #jrpg for the #supernintendoentertainmentsystem games console. It was developed by the fabled #quintet . It was published in Japan by #enix and in Europe by #Nintendo . It was released in Japan in 1995. PAL regions recieved it in 1996. It never had a North American release. This #snes #actionroleplayinggame stands alongside the other greats of the platform with a great story that has a boy known as Ark accidentally causing his fellow people to be frozen. He sets out on a world & time spanning quest to save the world. I won't spoil any more of the story. This game has been in the family for decades, which is handy as I'd never be able to afford a copy nowadays! O jogador escolhe um dos quatro hovercars disponíveis e pode correr com outros hovercars em um dos modos de jogo - “Practice” ou “Grand Prix”. No modo “Practice”, o jogador escolhe uma pista em que compete com outro hovercar para vencer a corrida (ou não pode haver nenhum rival, se você desejar). No “Grand Prix”, o jogador deve completar uma série de corridas com vários concorrentes. Cada corrida consiste em cinco voltas.

O hovercar possui um medidor de potência limitado, que representa a saúde da máquina e diminui quando o hovercar colide com os limites da pista e outros jogadores. Se a energia acabar, o hovercar explode e o jogador perde a corrida. Existem áreas de reparo próximas à linha de largada, que restauram a energia do hovercar do jogador se ele entrar nelas. As trilhas contêm muitas armadilhas mais ou menos perigosas, como campos de gelo ou minas terrestres.

Completar uma volta premia o jogador com um “Super Jet” que pode ser ativado a qualquer momento para aumentar a velocidade rapidamente. O hovercar pode manter até três Super Jets e usá-los quando necessário.
