I’m all for Sanvers getting a dog, (I mean I’d rather Kara but she is NOT home enough to properly care for it so Sanvers will do.) BUT WHY GERTRUDE???

Like I know you were in a tough sitch for thinking of names Alex, but COME ON.  

I’m on board with old lady/extremely human names that have no business being dogs names... just not Gertrude.  Give them a golden retriever named Pamela.  (Pam in HR won’t be pleased but it’s FINE.) Give them a German Shepard named Carol.  A CHOW CHOW NAMED MARGE.  A dachshund named Peter.  A labradoodle named George.

I really could go on but I’ll stop there.
