Summary:
Cat is a famous author and never does press for her books. After losing a bet with Lois, she has to give one in-depth interview to a reporter of Lois's choosing - she sends Kara.
A few days of researching and intruding and talking about writing - will the reclusive Cat Grant really fall for the intrepid reporter Kara?
---
This is my entry for the Supercat Christmas in July organized by the excellent @supersantafemslash ! I had the immense pleasure to write for @fictorium / @damelola and once again, the prompt got out of hand. What was supposed to be a nice 5K words piece turned into a 35K words monster. It features a lot of easter eggs from Lola’s works AND the show, a very lovable Lois Lane, a cheeky cat (I mean an actual cat, in addition to Cat Grant you know) and a side ship of Sara Lance/Alex Danvers, amongst other things. Warning : it’s rated E I hope you enjoy the read!
I'll Hold Your Hand, You Hold Onto Your Hope
This is for @supersantafemslash ‘s Xmas in July. It’s a SuperCat story for @themillsdaughter who asked for:
“you don't know who your soulmate is until you hold their hand."
Unfortunately, I’m too lazy to format this whole thing, so enjoy it on ao3!
---------------
Cat Grant doesn’t like being touched. She’d done the customary handshake greeting for everyone until she’d gotten her second divorce. She let the gossip papers say what they wanted: she’d found her soulmate, her germaphobia had finally won out, her soulmate was dead, etc.
Really the germaphobia one was closest, she hadn’t found her soulmate and she wouldn’t, ever. Obviously, she was one of the unlucky (or lucky, depending) ones whose soulmate was a recluse, died, or just gave up and settled down with someone else.
Of course Kara’s been working for her for nearly two years when they first hold hands.

Read it on ao3.
Hiyo there! How are you? Here’s your secret Santa! I love this prompt! But I’m an artist and not a writer, so I was wondering if you’d like to specify something? Also, I’m thinking about doing this with supercat, sounds good? “Supergirl accidentally mentions her girlfriend/wife all the time. When Kara's identity is no longer a secret, the press has a field day with finally knowing the special someone behind all those little tidbits”
Heyyyyy! I’m so sorry it took me so long to answer - I’ve been very inactive here. Supercat sounds perfect. It’s my fav tbh, but I added other ships I also like so it wouldn’t make sorting too hard. Anyways, to answer your super kind question, I don’t think I have any specific request so go crazy! One thing I like is reactions so if you could include that in any way - like supercat reacting to the press, or others doing so, etc, that would be cool. But not necessary! Honestly just do whatever you’re inspired to do by that prompt and I’m sure I’ll love it. Thanks so much for reaching out! :D

my super secret santa entry for the wonderful @xxtorchxx! merry christmas!!! :) prompt: rooftop, first date
kara isn't so subtle about her crush, and cat finally decides to ask her out. guess who's speechless? ;) (ao3)
A Merry Danvers Christmas: The Super Sisters, Alex and Kara, introduce their girlfriends to Christmas, Danvers Style. Astra indulges in the excitement and richness of the experience, having prepared weeks in advance by researching the holiday. Of course, Astra’s favourite part, aside from pulling Alex under the mistletoe and sharing hot cocoa with her niece, is singing Christmas songs. Cat, on the other hand, is sour over having to spend the holiday without her son, whose spending the week with his father. Kara tries her best to bring some joy to her, but Cat’s mood is as stubborn as she is powerful.
Created for @karadorkvers as part of @supersantafemslash ♥
Pinch hit for @reginalovesemma
Prompt was Kara finds Cat’s high-school yearbook
