jolie’s done her best to forget about them --- move past it. move on. it wasn’t easy to forget the person who had completely stolen her heart in high school... they’d had plans to move in together as soon as they’d graduated, but then they’d dumped her without a second thought. it had completely wrecked jolie --- devastated her without no way of moving forward, and the only way she’d had to cope was writing a song about it --- several songs about it, actually. the songs had been a success, and now two albums and a sold out world tour later, she’s finally managed to put the past behind her... that is, until she looks into the front row while singing her most popular song about the breakup and sees... them. the person she’s been running from all these years in her thoughts and memories... they’re right there. front row. her heart skips a beat and she half-trips on stage, managing to stumble through the words of the second chorus still even though she’s shaking inside. --- @superstcrr​ (based.)

it's mid-august, late evening, the sun still peering in a shadow of orange over the horizon, bleeding into blue.  the bennett’s have a lovely home. so lovely that if will has to hear once more how lovely it is, he’ll fucking stab himself with one of their hand-crafted chintz cake forks. margo’s all talk tonight – a walking disco ball in a red dress and wolf coat. my late husband skinned it with his bare hands ! how quaint. “you simply must see the greenhouse,” margo gushes to mother bennett, father bennett seemingly hanging on to her every word, little bennett running her toes over will’s kneecaps beneath the table. somehow he’s found himself in a suburban nightmare. the only thing that would complete the circus was if margo was shagging kath’s father. if she hadn’t already. how’s your steak, william? “yeah it’s good, mom. thanks for cooking, mrs bennett, you, er-- you have a lovely home.” where are the fucking cake forks when you need them. did you hear kath’s volunteering at the overnight soup kitchen? “no,” will remarked, finishing a morsel of steak, seemingly every bite of his meal interrupted by her mother – or his. “that’s interesting, kathy.” will can barely bite back a smile. overnight soup kitchen his left ass cheek. “i’m sure your services are invaluable to them.” @superstcrr

    jane frowns, her finger tracing the rim of her wine glass as she looks at the table between them. she isn’t trying to start a fight, she’s just trying to understand. her eyes flicker up to jesús and back down again, lips pursed. “i just think it’s weird,” she begins, trying her best to choose her words carefully so they don’t come out as an attack. “i mean-- she’s an important part of your life. i feel like i should’ve met your daughter by now.” but even though she’s trying her best to be diplomatic, she can’t help the little bit of salt that escapes her. “well, unless i’m not an important part of your life, and that’s why you don’t want me to meet her.”

“you’re a proper big brother now eh” he thought as he carried his half brother, who had drank himself senseless and passed out, through the front door. and he immediately wanted to slap himself in the face for thinking that. he should’ve hated phoenix, and he did, for several years but upon meeting him he realized that to his surprise, he wasn’t a bad bloke after all. guided by his girlfriend, he took him to his bedroom, and let him drop onto his king-size bed. he thought he’d sit for a bit before he left, try to wait out the few paparazzi that had followed them home after the club. he wasn’t supposed to be seen by them, after all right? he came back to the living room, threw his jacket onto the couch and sat down, letting out a big exhale. “fucking hell, does he always get like this when he goes out?” he asked beatrice, who had just entered the room. @superstcrr

⋆  ˚ · the rain beating against the window of the dining hall matched august’s mood perfectly as he sat sprawled across one of the couches, a permanent wrinkle etched in between his brows as he slowly flipped through a book, occasionally reaching out for his cup of coffee that sat on the table. as always, august had the look of pure “do not disturb”, not having much of an affection toward the other people at his school besides his friends. and even then, he still had moments where even they were too much for him.
