I'm rewatching The Batman (2022) and I've decided that my favourite superhero movies take place 2-5 years into them superheroing.

The Batman? 2 years into being Batman.

Fantastic Four: First Steps? 5 years in.

Superman (2025)? 3 years in.

The only exception to this is Into the Spider-Verse, but that is because it plays with the tropes so much. Also, Across the Spider-Verse might actually kinda be better, and Miles is 16 months into Spidermaning at that point.

The thing is, I think origin stories are boring. Give me a 2 minute scene to catch me up and assume I know them by now. I like when they've been doing it for a little while, but not so long that they haven't worked out all the kinks. I think that's more fun.
