So, im home now.

Even though there were some things I didnt get to do, I still managed to have a really good time.

Except for most of fridays concert, but that was because of some drama that my friend was putting me through. I wont get into it, but basically he made it very difficult for me to enjoy the concert because of his behavior.

Saturday, however, I was on my own, as he didnt want to participate in the days activities, which was so fine by me. I got to chat with some of my tumblr buddies and some tumblrites that I know from their bot makeup alone. Everyone was so nice. I even hung out with bunjywunjy for a bit. It was fun. Met up with Sarigar again for a short time.  I got to meet ohpierre and the girl with the longest tumblr name i've ever seen, superwolfboneswholockgiraffe.

  I LOVE MY ROBOT PHOTO OP PICTURE!!! I normally take shit photos, but this one is really quite good. It was a little terrifying, but in a good way, because the guys are so tall and right behind you, and so they could be making any kind of face, be it nice or silly or creepy, and you'd never know until you got the photo. But I love how it came out. I really did. And I got to hug all the bots. Yes, even the elusive Bunny. She kinda couldnt go anywhere so I took it where I could get it lol. In the autograph line, I was able to talk like I wasnt a bumbling idiot. I gave bunny the sally hansen nail polish strips. They were black and white zig zaggy stripes. I told her what they were and quickly showed her the holiday version I was wearing and explained it. She seemed to think it was neat, and thanked me. I asked them all how they were enjoying our fine michigan weather. Matt said "in five minute increments, and then I go back inside where its warm". They're all so adorable about it.

The tea party was pretty cool.  Hey, I was in a live stream! Woohoo! I can be seen saying hi to tumblr and talking about Mime tea, at the table with the lady in the super amazing dress and hat with the christmas caroler look to it. Hey. It could have gone worse. At one point matt came and sat with us and poured us tea but by the time he got to me, there was barely any left and I said, aww, the story of my life! He quickly offered me some of his and I was like NO! no no no, im good, I can wait. He asked if I was sure and I said yeah, im sure, its not a problem. It was cute.

Spoiler alert. Matt doesnt like Doctor Who.

During the tea, snowball shenanigans ensued. I could have gotten some photos with various SPG members but, something kept me from getting in the lines to stand there with any of them while someone took the picture with my phone.

My friend came with me to the concert, and this time he was behaving and I was able to actually enjoy the entire show. I will say one thing about fridays show. That ending? Hilarious.  One more time! Many, many, many times. Saturdays show........ Rabbit did the vest thing IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. LIKE...SECRET REVEALED, HERE'S YOUR EASTER EGG, FOLKS! And said some stuff that could just be fake outs but MAYBE GOODBYE TO THE PANTS AND VEST?? You know the Bennetts. Gotta keep us guessing....and crapping our pants with anticipation.

We ended up not going to the after party, ultimately because of the weather. But I really wanted to go. But, it's amazing that I got to go to yulemas at all, and so for that I am grateful.

I am so proud of SPG for braving our crazy ass weather and taking everything in stride. I can just hear Bunny giving the biggest NOPE, NOPE NOPE, in history on the prospect of another yulemas in michigan. I think David did exceptionally well with everything, being as sick as he was.

I know this post was grossly long winded, but I just had to get it all out. In the end, I really had so much fun and I will cherish this forever.

I'll have to get a gander at my photos and post the ones that came out even remotely decent.

Thank you, Steam Powered Giraffe, for braving the frozen tundra that is Michigan, and rocking the house down. Hopefully I can team up with someone else and see you at Midwest Media Expo.
