I got a very cheap Supia Roda head and you can see why it cost so little here. I've cleaned her up best I can since those dirty photos were taken.

Despite all the stains and damage, her tiny face is so sweet. This wig can obscure most of the problems, and camera angles help.

I just really like this sculpt and keep going back to it.

This old old company faceup has charm and I don't want to wipe it so I'll just work with it for now.

The head is very small and I had high hopes it would work on the SQ Lab body I keep swapping around. The color match is surprisingly good. The head is maybe too small but that's older Supia for ya.

I'm seeing if she "works" in with the Limhwa dolls for now. Not sure how I feel about it but she doesn't really fit in any of the other displays.

Thought I'd jump on the #myprogress bandwagon! I've come a long way on faceups in the last six years! Can't wait to redo Mary's faceup again and see the difference! ❤

Roda arrived extremely greened from sun damage in 2021. I cleaned and dyed her, then sent her to @zaksdolls for an incredible faceup.

Can't believe how different she looks now.

Could you post a picture of your lana/argo + Supia roda + any limhwa 57cm girl body together? I'd really like to be able to compare the proportions of these bodies!

Currently being Highly Entertained by ruffles. Working on this pattern today, here is take number one.

Notes on needed adjustments:

shoulders less boxy

back a lot narrower

sleeves shorter

neckline opened up and collar narrower

Maybe the ruffle needs to be applied in more of a V shape, rising up on the shoulders? What do y'all think?

I spent quite a bit of time altering the pattern to be more fitted, only to realize afterward that what I really want is oversized. Uhhhh. This is why it's important to do sketches first ... but hey I doodled a sort of sketch on my phone now! 🥲
