hello! just wanted to pop in and say a big THANK YOU for running winterfalcon week 2021! it's prompted me to explore further with my art and of course indulge in my obsession with sambucky <3 keep up the great work and i hope to see future events from this blog <3

Oh, wow, thank you so much! Those are some pretty great compliments, and we really appreciate them ❤️ From three WinterFalcon superfans to another: we're so happy that you're enjoying this fanweek!

Regarding future events: well, we mods have been discussing possibly arranging a Sambucky Secret Santa towards the end of the year? We're not sure how many people would be interested, though, so do give us a thumbs-up if that sounds like something you'd like to participate in.

We're also planning a TFATWS Anniversary Bingo for March of next year - which, exactly as the name says, will be a bingo event for the anniversary of TFWATS' airing. We'll be setting up a bingo card for writers and artists with squares that remind us about our favourite TFATWS moments, props and locations :D

And, of course, since this fanweek has turned out to be such a success (WE LOVE YOU, all the amazing people submitting content!! 😍) we hope to do a second WinterFalcon Week in August of next year.

We realise that that sounds like a lot of Sambucky, but hey - we warned you that we were superfans! If any of you feel the same, well, we'd love to see you again for some of these future events <3

Y'all anons need to leave her the fuck alone. Who the fuck are you to say what is and isn't "essential travel"? I don't care what you say, you aren't privy to the emotions and struggles of these folk so you have no idea how healing and, yes, essential this trip might be for them. They're doing it safely and that is what matters the most, so how about y'all sit back and mind your own business and let these two have their time together.

Like really we're both very thankful.

And it's true, I'm already most of my life alone. Because of my health I spend my days basically indoors alone anyhow, covid times ofc made that even worse. Normally I'd try to go outside once every two weeks or so. Now because I'm high risk, sometimes even my mom stays away out of fear when she's unsure if she might be sick.

S. always gets tested, multiple times also because her mom is also high risk, so she's already very careful.

We don't go anywhere, as I'm not able to anyway nor want to.

But sometimes I break from being in pain 24/7 and before S. Came I was literally on a verge of breaking down and not being able to handle it. Now I still cry and struggle a lot these days, which isn't my usual self but I'm not doing well, but at least I have someone who holds me for a while and have a hand to hold.

Because life as you know it now with covid, was already my life before this. And I understand it's hard for people who weren't used to this. But this.. Has been my life for years. And for y'all this will end and I'm so happy for that, but for me it won't. So keep that in mind and don't ever take your freedom for granted again.

Hey. I hope you're ok tonight. I wish I could leap across the country and give you a hug and tell you it will be ok in person, but I guess this will have to do. I know it's not who you want, but I hope you know that there are lots of people who care about you!!

Thank you. The fact that I do still have people who care about me helps me keep my head above the water, even when I feel like letting myself drown. I’ll forever be grateful for that.

hey! just here to let you know that it's okay to take as much time as you need to feel okay enough to write again. don't force it for anyone else, keep yourself in mind. make sure you're doing it for you and only do it when it feels right. we're all here waiting, so don't worry about that. you really make a lot of people happy with your writing- including me- and we want you to be happy too, so don't force yourself to do anything that you don't feel up for. make sure to take care of yourself. 💕
