My New Beginning: From a Challenging Past to a Passionate Future

For the past few months, I've been pouring my heart and soul into a project that means everything to me: my new horror series, The Tenebrous Archives. What many people don't know is that this journey is about more than just writing; it's about building a new life for my family.

Living in a very rural area, finding stable employment has been a constant struggle due to toxic and, in some cases, illegal workplaces. It's a reality many people face, but I've chosen to fight back by following my passion. My books are my lifeline and my business, and they are my path to providing a stable future for my family.

To make this dream a reality, I'm reaching out to my network for support. I've started a GoFundMe to help me cover living expenses while I write and to fund essential ad campaigns to get my books in front of more readers.

My Patreon Now Offering Annual Memberships (+ a discount!!!)

Patreon recently implemented a feature to allow for annual membership. It is actually something I've been hoping they would do (maybe giftcards are on their radar now too?) as I know especially for my international supporters paying one annual sum helps with all the additional charges incurred.

As such, after looking into it and doing some research, I am now offering the ability for supporters to select an annual membership to support my page. A couple of things to be aware of:

I will be offering an 8% discount (or, in easier terms, one month FREE!) for anyone who subscribes to the annual membership. This offer will expire on September 30.

Following September 30, the discount will be offered at 4% (or half a month free) through the remainder of the year. It may remain a permanent fixture but I'm not locking into it past the end of this year.

You will be charged upfront for a full year. Your annual membership will automatically renew on the 1st of the month after 12 months have passed.  If you choose to upgrade your tier after selecting an annual membership you will pay the difference in cost at that time.

At this time there is no way to downgrade a tier after selecting an annual membership. So while I hope you want to stick around the page at your current tier (or check out a higher one!) there will be no refund available if you downgrade.

There are also no refunds should you choose to (sadly) leave the page. HOWEVER! If I should choose to stop posting on Patreon and you had pledged an annual membership, I will issue refunds for the remaining months. Hopefully that won't happen but just as a note of insurance to you from me :)

And the MOST IMPORTANT NOTE:

You absolutely do not have to join the annual membership. I know, especially for some higher tiers, that's a lot of money upfront, and pledging such an amount is not always feasible. Please do not feel pressured into doing so in any way, shape or form. This is merely an option and I wanted to make sure you all heard about it first before you saw any weird options in your active membership page or on the site.

For current patrons:

Log in, hover over your profile icon in the top right corner, and select Manage Memberships

From your Active Memberships page click Edit next to the pledge you want to change

You’ll see a checkout page where you can select Annual

Click Update. Again note: you’ll be charged upfront.

For new patrons:

1. Visit my Patreon where you’ll see the option below the “Join” button of your chosen tier.
