Daehyun is simultaneously B.A.P and Babyz biggest fan. Literally has one of the biggest and most loving souls. This recorded version of Baby is just as beautiful as the live and had me in tears once again.
AM 4:44 is going to be on the album.
I know we're all scared and quite frankly, I'm bawling my fucking eyes out. But. This won't be the end. B.A.P might not exist as B.A.P under T$ anymore and honestly thank. God. But I know that this won't be the last thing we hear from our boys. They will be okay and we will be okay. Yongguk is a fantastic songwriter, producer, rapper and generally a phenomenal human being and I know he won't give up on his passion. B.A.P will always be six. Whether under a new name or in our minds, we have all felt the bond these six men have and it has inspired us. They will be okay and they will continue to pursue their passion and the only we can do right now is to persevere and show Yongguk and the rest of our boys our love and support. We will get through this BABYz.

Okay, but can we, like, appreciate B.A.P properly for a bit?
TS is not the only shitty company, but still. TS never had a lot of money, it's a small company. Untouchable and Secret did a good job, and more or less B.A.P debuted with Secret's money. And they did fucking well. 3000 people attended their debut showcase, that was a record back then.
Yongguk produced every single album they released and shouldered everything, patiently taking care of the kids with Himchan (WHO IS NEVER APPRECIATED ENOUGH I'LL RANT ANOTHER DAY ABOUT HIM). Himchan most likely went through an eating disorder back then. They were popular, popular enough to have repaid their debts to TS fairly early. They were overworked, TS literally milked their talents and hard work without even paying them. They went to the hospital frequently and they didn't have enough money to pay the fees. More than two years active with continuous comebacks and world tours and TS never paid them enough. And when they boys asked to have a look at their finances they were met with TS refusal and an "Everything is going well". They didn't even know how much money they made. Himchan once said that it would be fine if only him and Yongguk went through that, but that wasn't the case, the other 4 were mistreated as well. They were planning to fill in a lawsuit for quite a while, but they delayed it because Junhong was still underage and had they done it at the time they would have to leave him behind. So they waited so that they could all leave together. Shortly after Junhong came of age, Himchan was treated in the hospital for exhaustion and stress and Daehyun was brought from the emergency room for a performance with an IV patch on his arm. A few days later B.A.P cleared their schedules and the lawsuit was announced. They were gone for a while and at some point Yongguk released "AM 4:44" which was what first made us think he suffers from depression. Junhong also released "No Title", an excellent diss to TS, thank you very much. A few months later they came back, a big part of the fandom gone, now supporting other groups. But they survived. Daehyun went through his own phase, relying too much on alcohol for a while to relieve his stress. But they stayed together. They survived. They went back to working and they were a family again. Because that's what they are, NO ONE can deny that. They started again from the beginning with literally nothing to support them on a stage where other groups were now becoming more popular. And then Yongguk's panic disorder was diagnosed. And he went on a hiatus for a few months with his brother confirming that he had been working for years while being depressed. And the rest of B.A.P shouldered Yongguk's responsibilities and kept working and promoting waiting for him to come back. And he did, and they're together again now. And they're doing well. They're doing so fucking well. Korea is still sleeping on them, but fuck it. They're doing well. They're healthy, they have jobs, they make enough money to live comfortably and they are happy. Yongguk released "Yamazaki" on pm 4:44, telling us all that it's not "Everything is gonna be alright" anymore. It IS alright.
I know that that might be hard to believe since TS is a fucking mess. Secret has not had a comeback in more than two yeas, they also managed to completely destroy Sonamoo, a group that has some of the best performances out of all the rookie groups, (AND THAT'S A FUCKING ACHIEVEMENT TS, WELL DONE, YOU COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE USELESS), Untouchable are completely unknown to the fans now, the company's employees were not paid for months, B.A.P had a makestar project to raise money and now a new boy band with ten members? Oh and btw TS also has a soloist whose name I can't remember, but I don't think she has had a comeback in several years. Well, TS is still useless. No arguments there. But B.A.P are fucking kings. They fought an abusive company, a long hiatus, depression, panic and eating disorders, alcoholism, and their music is always top quality, never missing the deep meanings and never restricted to one genre. And they're fucking slaying everything. And it's 100% them. They top the charts with zero back-up. I fucking love these kids.
That said, it's still frustrating at what level Korea is sleeping on them. Last year at MAMA nominations for Best Male Group there were rookies included that had been promoting for only a few months, but B.A.P were overlooked. At a recent poll about the best idol producer Yongguk was not included either, and he's third on the list for the most songs under his name. Junhong's rap in Warrior broke a record of the fastest rap at a younger age without underground experience (he was 15 years old), and he's not included in the list of Korea's rappers. Korea, go home, you're drunk.
