Something important:

Im not used to post serious things in my blog but I have a really important thing to say about (my ultimate bias) Doyoung.

A lot of people see Doyoung as the cold/salty/sassy member of NCT but I feel like we dont apareciate his wise brain and his kind heart enough.

For that reason I make a little list of important things that Doyoung said/did.

When at an interview to the dreamies was the ask “What dance you would do at a club?” And Doyoung protested saying “They are all minors!”

He (with Jungwoo, Lucas and Yuta) encouraged a fan who though his/her voice was weird.

A fan said that she was in love with her bestfriend and when Yuta asked if her friend was a boy Doyoung said that the relation ship “could be between a boy and a girl, a boy and a boy or a girl and a girl”

He said to us to dont be worried about being an adult bc “the world isn’t that dark” and bc “ there are more fun things than expected after becoming an adult”

A fan told him that she/he was afraid to start work life and he said “Don’t be afraid. Life is interesing”

Doyoung said that he doesn’t want nctzens to see NCT as their only source of happiness in their lives, instead he just want to be a part of that happiness.

Doyoung to a fan: “It doesn’t matter if you quit, specially if this (your current job) makes you so unhappy. Because a star will shine no matter where it goes.”

He said that is so important to love ourselfs to enjoy and feel more thankfull with the love that others gives to us.

Doyoung said that it’s okay to not have clear dreams/ambitions bc “the search for dreams its a process and it has its own time”

So this was a little recopilation of beautifull and wise things that Doyoung said so please, love him. He really deserves it ♡

This youtuber got herself braids a few weeks ago and got so many comments on how and why it was wrong. She educated herself and even made a research on the history of braids, dreads and cornrows.

She posted a video where she removes her braids and explains to other Korean people the importance of these hairstyles. She’s a good example of how someone can learn from their mistakes and spread awareness.

Don’t hate on people who ignorantly appropriate cultures. Try to educate them with facts!!

I want to note that appropriatees (people who are the victims) are in no way obligated to educate appropriaters (offenders). Education only works if someone is willing to listen, learn and change. It’s not beneficial to waste energy and time on someone who has no interested in bettering themselves.

The beauty of existing in the 21st century is that we have access to a lot of different types of resources on this topic. Simple google searches can give you a lot of great information. It’s important to do your own research first and then ask questions if you’re still curious or confused.
