Shota Aizawa and his cat, Whiteshoes
Back with some more doodles for my Clone Seven AU, but this time it's with Tiny Son-zawa and his cat, Whiteshoes. Gran Torino got Shota a cat (trained as a support animal for people who have gone through trauma) and Shota loves his Whiteshoes. He has never seen or touched a real cat before Whiteshoes. This is why Aizawa is so obsessed with cats.
[Steal my art and say goodbye to your kneecaps you fool]
Home Alone / No work / Sick…
Shout out my cat that wants to be let inside and then outside actually <3
Does anyone have any personal experience ya can share about getting a support/therapy/etc cat?
There's dozens on dogs but I've only ever heard that ppl have their trained cats but not like, how they went from idea to trained being in their home
Country doesn't matter I just wanna know the story
For all the people who think dogs are more loving than cats:
I got my cat in January, because I had been living on my own and having an amply apartment was causing my mental health to decline. Now I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety for awhile now, but I’m very bad at expressing my emotions verbally, so I tend to just try to deal with it all myself. For anyone with depression or anxiety, you know this isn’t always healthy.
This week had been particularly bad. My boyfriend is in China for the summer, and most of my friends from college don’t live in town. So I’ve been trying to deal with everything on my own instead of bugging the few friends who do live in town.
Yesterday I was having a panic attack, crying and hyperventilating on my couch. And a few minutes into my panic attack, my cat jumped up onto the back of my couch, and started pawing at my head. When I finally looked up at her, she started licking my face and rubbing up against me. I laid down to try to get my breathing under control, and she sat right on my chest.
She knew exactly how to take care of me, because she knows how to get my attention, because she knows how to stop me from crying, because she knows that I like having pressure on my chest when I’m upset.
So if you think cats don’t care about their people, you’ve obviously never been a cat’s person. They may not come running every time you call, but they’re there when you need them.
