Somethin I've found quite silly about all the trans Jax I've been seeing is that so often the only change they give em is just a shirt, it feels like when you give a child stripes to indicate they're a child, Jax is a woman if she's wearing a shirt and detransitions if she dares take it off lmao
a lil detail I noticed that who knows how impactful it is, could be entirely pointless and overlooked by devsis, but i still find really neat
smilk's hair gradient changes between all of his forms, fount the most dark, sage middle and smilk the least; and ofc the eyes showin up on smilk whilst the other two forms doesnt have it is a big difference too
but at least for these puppet forms of smilk & sage they both have the base color of the blue w black as the hatched gradient, which for me i would describe sage has dark hair that gets lighter vs smilk who has blue hair w a patch of dark (not including the eye part)
not only that the eye part is also just hatched in black, it isnt like the shirt & arms where its base color is black, its base color is blue w the black scribbled on
i just found it neat that, if it has as much importance as at least i view it to be for smilk, that he still feels as if he has blue hair throughout his entire life, is a thought that i'm chewin on not literally im not eating the cookie lmao

As I've been thinking of the connection between salt & smilk and as salt has dripped into my feed I've occasionally seen some short analysis on him and given their shortness they rarely elaborate on what they're sourcing and how they're drawing these conclusions, and because I always assume I'm the dumbest person in the room I always assume everyone else is always right, but this time I just can't agree? Though I'm aware when I post this I will indeed be proven the dumbest in the room w a buncha sources that indicate their hatred lol
As I've gotten salt today I got him talking to people and there's two things I feel more confident about than before
First is that I truly don't think the beasts had anything (directly) to do with salts destruction, sbice & sugar both indicate heavily that they had no idea what truly happened (sugar is still also a prominent manipulator but still) and neither mystic or smilk have any dialogue that implies they do/did know-- and to me it'd add up far more that their isolationist tendencies if they really didn't know what salt's land and it's people really looked like than if they sent in emissaries to have private meetings without them but on behalf of them making plans on their own, especially given the personalities and opinions of the 4 regarding one another
And secondly I'd be astonished at this point if the smilk thing wasn't a red herring-- I've seen at least two people say they think salt hates smilk because he's who orchestrated the deception-- but I must be blind cause I cannot find it anywhere that salt thinks that of smilk
The only thing I can find that vaguely points to it besides that one image I'm calling the red herring is that the deceit emissary took most of the control of the conversation, but again that just makes intrinsic sense given the parties involved-- two of the people come from places that are fairly quiet & chill and the remaining one is high on spice, I don't think it's some conspiracy to think that the one most willing to discuss just in general is the one who holds the conversation w 3 ppl who have their reasons to not yap
Cause from the looks of things to me based on their dialogue, the two of them seem to have the (relatively) best relationship w one another as salt seems to view smilk as similar to him (so thus likely projects his own silence based self hatred onto him and that's what the comparison is about) and salt is the only person that smilk has shown any vulnerability towards out of the beasts as far as I remember, actively admitting to his face one of his common manipulation tactics and the worst thing smilk does at all is mild points of prodding (keyword was 'relatively' lmao) compared to everyone else which is largely actually trying to piss them off by using what he remembers about them
It certainly seems like if there's anyone he doesn't like it's mystic apparently of all people (idk what tyrannical stunts mystic pulled off whilst inside the cocoon but if ya say so salt shaker lmao), refusing to even speak to her unless it's to command her to fuck off
Like I don't think they're best friends or anything of that sort, but I absolutely don't believe that either of them hates the other and wants each other dead or whatever-- smilk seems curious and not aggressive whilst salt seems apprehensive but more focused on his inner turmoils than on smilk
And if we want to assume that when sbice said "never asked for your sympathy" was a literal statement and not a hyperbolic one, which I think is plausible given smilk has apparently never seen what salt looks like underneath his armor, I think that gives reasonable evidence to theorize that salt might've literally never upheld solidarity between any of the beasts, probably assuming they were holding up as well as he was, which I think creates a fascinating relationship between the group of them
Salt didn't notice sbice's near instant abandonment of his beliefs, he potentially gave zero indication to sugar that their relationship was strained if it was even existent at all, ever since day 1 has smilk never been in a position to learn an (at the time) supremely innocuous fact about him and uhh, whatever he's got goin on w mystic ig lol
I've always assumed sbice was the first to fall given the things we know about him, but it is kinda poetic that salt was the very first to fall by never once uniting with those he was essentially assigned to be a team with, he was never any of their friends, all because he functionally never talked to them
