When I was 5, my family was forced into a Japanese internment camp. If we don't speak out, Trump may target Muslims with similar policies (99879 signatures on petition)

I just signed this. I’m Japanese, and things would have been very, very different for me if I had been born in Grandpa Takei’s generation. But that shouldn’t even matter. This is happening now. Please consider signing.

ACLU Commissions Drive

So.  As you may have heard, last Friday, Donald Trump decided to sign an executive order that, by the admission of people close to the decision, is pretty specifically meant to target Muslims.  The ACLU has been working relentlessly to try and fight this unconstitutional decision, even going so far as to bring the matter to court.  They are currently taking donations, and I want to do my part to help contribute.

To that end, I am opening Commissions here from now until 11:59 P.M. on Friday, February 10th. All the money I receive for commissions in this time frame will be donated to the ACLU, and I will post the receipt for that donation here the day afterwards just so no one has any cause to doubt it.  

I will only be taking payment via PayPal.  If you want a commission, please e-mail me with details of what you want at [email protected] with the subject line “ACLU Commission”.  

Some guidelines:

Feel free to ask for fan art, or art of your own original character(s).

Please provide reference materials.  Even for fan art, it would just make things a lot faster and easier for me to have the needed reference materials on hand.  If your idea uses original character(s) of your own that do not have a reference picture available, please describe the character as best you can.

I will not be doing any NSFW pictures for this commission drive.  

I will also not do any artwork that puts forward bigoted ideas or uses racist/bigoted imagery.
