Digital Art and Reblogging...

It’s been said before, so please consider this a bump.  It is not okay to remove source data from art - any art.  Manip, gifs, digital paintings, photographs.  It’s easy and tempting to reblog only the image, but it’s really bad manners, and you really just should not.  You would not reblog a story without the artist’s name and images are no different.  If you must remove a lengthy caption, at least replace it with the artist or source info.  Remember, once you share an image without credit, it’s out there, spreading and multiplying, until nobody knows where it came from.  And that hardly seems a proper thank you to the talented person who created and shared it.
