Mega Girl and Beat (Additional notes below cut)

I tweak her armor every time I draw her lol

It wasn’t always the plan for Kalinka to become Mega Girl in Mega Man Recut S3, but like the Syndicate she got revamped in S2 (around the same time Beat debuted as her support unit, also not planned until that point). I thought this could be a fun way to give her a bigger part in Recut :)

I had considered giving her a sneak peak in the last battle of Master of Disaster, (though without an identity reveal) but that episode already had a lot going on emotionally without needing S3 teases

Also she's a Captain N reference, partially inspired by how that version of Mega Man looks like Quint, so like Quint and Mega Girl

…TBH still have only seen like two episodes of Captain N, and she was in neither lol
