Far too often we find people reducing art to a mere performance that is meant to awe the audience. It disregards an individual's introspective experience or a community's collective awareness of the diversity of human experience.

So you can imagine our delight when we got the chance to convert Tyshna’s art into the creation we love creating.

Tyshna’s imagination helped her create stunning works of art. It was the starting point of some of the most beautiful models of Trays, Coasters, and Cheese Platters that got designed at Yellow Marigold.

There is no easy way to capture the impalpable experience that the world has to offer, into tangible form. But every now and then, we get blessed by artists from all walks of life, tucked away in their home studios, innovating with processes, experimenting with colors, and expanding our imaginations.

15-year-old Tyshna has grown up enamored with the world of art. Her tranquil nature has always been attracted to the sublime beauty of the natural world that serves as inspiration, coupled with her unique vision and talent that guides her to create uplifting art- Art that she hopes will inspire others to pick up the paintbrush as well!

Brushstroke after brushstroke, capturing quite accurately details of all that she sees with flourishes that are Tyshna’s entirely own. Yellow Marigold provided her with the canvas on which she could sincerely portray her visions. What came out was a pleasant surprise in the form of our Art Series ServeWare line, which features Trays, Coasters, and Cheese Platters carrying her designs.

Yellow Marigold is a creative endeavor motivated by a lifetime curiosity with materials, cultures, traditions, and design challenges. More than just manufacturing serve wares, our objective is to develop ideas and create processes that, we hope, bring home a sense of fulfillment occasionally.

A viewer may experience a similar satisfaction as their eyes trace along the characteristic curves of ceramics and definitive trails of colors, much as an artist's life is caught within the interplay of colors and shapes. We pride ourselves on collaborating with artists and connecting them with their curious viewers (read: our loyal customers).
