just met our school's new Social Workers and dayum. i wish every teenager could come here! as both are woke af. they believe and practice harm reduction and wanna teach instead of lecture. they wanna ensure tht our brown kids aren't shafted down the school to prison pipleline. they've got LGBT experiences, connections and open hearts. they are gonna give every marginalised youth support. i can't even express how overjoyed this makes me. i mean, this is all the stuff I've been trying for YEARS to implement and none of my old-school coworkers had my back. now, thou, now... change is gonna come, oh yes it will!
