#Repost @htownbeerguys Today we had an amazing #brunch experience at @theupsidepub - located in the Garden Oaks neighborhood of Houston. The pub exudes friendly vibes - we didn't feel like anyone was a stranger, whether employee or customer. The beer list is very local favorites heavy - @greatheightsbrewing @eurekaheights @equalpartsbrewing @brashbrewing and more. They also have a full bar and a wine list. Here we're enjoying You've Got a lot of Nerve Belgian Single from @hollerbeer and a coffee martini with @williampricedistilling coffee liqueur. Yum! Vitamin Sea Brewing Company & Trillium brewing Company ; Charge the Channel ; New England - Double Indian Pale Ale #SupportLocalBreweries #DrinkLocal #SouthShoreBeer Oh Wow What a delicious beer. This was second part of the collab between @trilliumbrewing and @vitaminseabrewing and I loved this even more that the previous one. What happens when 2 of your most favorite breweries come together for an Epic collaboration, well the result is that they produce a Damn sexy beer. I was lucky enough to get these based on how quickly the cans sold out. A big thanks to my friends @gpooja, @verysid & @sonwanebhagyashree who actually got this one for me as it was hot, long queue and I had my presentations going on. Hop profile was just changed a little bit i.e. Citra and Rakau from Channel Charge was hit it with a hefty does of Galaxy to give it another dimension; Pouring a pale straw yellow with an opaque, glowing haze, Charge the channel wastes no time in showing its bountiful, hop-saturated aroma and was even more crispier than its counterpart. Big-time orange sorbet notes make an initial wave, followed by punchy peach juice layers, candied summer melon and light pineapple close behind. Bold, yet balanced in its approach, with just enough bitter bite. This one was more definitely a VSBish kinda collaboration but cant complain, a damn tasty beer. I feel a lot like a trillium beer which had an added crispiness. Taking time out from cooking and watching Summerslam to #SupportLocalBreweries. This one comes courtesy of Second Line Brewing here in NOLA. "A Saison Named Desire" is what they call it. Farmhouse brewed and finished with blood oranges. It's hoppy like an IPA, sorta spicy and is big on citrus flavor going down. I'd buy it again.

#Repost @htownbeerguys We had the privilege of previewing @badastronautbrewing last night and we can't say enough good things. When we "judge" a brewery we look for two things: 1) great beer and 2) great venue. Often times you'll get one but not both. Bad Astronaut, however, knocks both out of the ballpark. Located just to the north east of downtown, every beer we've tried so far, from the Parade Crasher Festbier to the Monster Beast Theatre cookie ale has been spot on. And y'all, the venue? Phenomenal. So much space, lots of super cool art, bar games... It's just great. Keep an eye out for when they open, fingers crossed very soon!
