A couple of years ago I began a journey. That journey lead to healing, learning, friendships and chaos. Then life happened to Me and I had to put it aside for a bit, a dream of publishing placed on hold. Since then, I’ve picked up the pen again and began the rewrite and edit process, which is intimidating. When my favorite artist @carlota_hash opened up for commissions, I jumped on the opportunity. Il pittore

Ormai riconosco un artista da poche pennellate, ma allora non compresi la grandezza del Bolzonella. Si professava imbianchino e come tale lo assoldai per rinfrescare la villa di campagna. Davanti al risultato rimasi sbigottito: pareti incomplete, linee ondulate, sbavature ovunque. Eppure, lo sforzo dell’uomo doveva essere stato enorme, a malapena riusciva a tenersi in piedi. Ahimè, oltre la tuta inzaccherata non vidi il gigante. Quantomeno avrei dovuto annusarne lo spirito, giacché ai contrasti decisi opponeva le ombrette mentre ai pieni prediligeva i vuoti. Superava metafisica e surreale. Era palese che appartenesse alla corrente, tipicamente veneta, del neoetilismo. Un genio!

Niente dura in eterno, mentre che meno questa illustrazione che ogni giorno cambia perdendo un pezzo di sé (oggi ha perso pure un pezzo di vetro!). Alla fine del giorno la cancello, e il giorno successivo la ridisegno, nuova e sempre diversa...inutile affezionarcisi! Hai tempo fino al 31 luglio per vederla. <_<_<_<_<_<_< Nothing lasts forever, not even this illustration that changes every day losing a piece of itself (today it also lost a piece of glass!). At the end of the day I delete it, and the next day I redesign it, new and always different ... useless to get attached to it!
