Well friends, I did it. I wrote a book. Here is a preview of the cover. My debut novel Marching Backwards will be coming out this April. (official release date to be announced soon.)
This book follows a set of twins named Wyatt and Abbi Walker. The twins enjoy an idyllic small town life; hanging out with friends, participating in marching band, and working in their moms coffee shop. But one stormy night a bus crashes on the way home from a marching competition and the twins discover a hidden power they didn't know they possessed, the power to see ghosts. This book asks the question: How do you grieve the loss of someone you can still see?
Featuring themes of grief, friendship, love, and guilt. As well as a boat load of representation, with characters being canonically stated as: lesbian, bi, trans, ace. As we'll as ones who are deaf and/or disabled. And a hearty variety of POC. All in an effort to have as many readers as possible see themselves in the cast.
